The 6 Most Important Decisions You'll Ever Make: A Guide for Teens: Updated for the Digital Age

I got this for my turn son after he took a class on the 7 habits of highly effective teens. He likes it! Wish I'd had this knowledge when I was a teen!

It's alot of good information but the presentation is too flashy and at the same time very juvenile. This is supposed to be for young teens, and content wise it is fine, but presentation seems like it is for much younger kids.

My son read it and immediately made small changes to his everyday behavior. He is a really good kid to begin with but there is always room for improvement. He tells me this types of books help him deal with his social life, which i guess is even more important since I can not be there when he is confronted to difficult decisions.

Honestly, he didn't have much of a choice, but it wasn't a complete struggle to get him to read it. He is graduating this year and I want him to start thinking about the next stage of his life and what kind of adult he wants to be. He said he even enjoyed a few of the chapters. I had him read a chapter or a few chapters and I would ask him what it was about and why it's important to him in his life right now and he seemed to be quite involved with it.

This is a great book. I'd encourage anyone to get this for any of the teenagers in their life. Motivate them to at least read it through at least once. In fact, most adults could benefit from most of this advice as well!

Purchased as a recommended package of books for a teen/pre-teen struggling a bit with adjusting to family dynamics and the transition from elementary to middle school. Helpful book.

Sean has done a masterful job and this book would benefit any early teen endlessly. In our ever changing and increasingly challenging world, it’s good to “make” yourself a proactive script for your life’s roadmap. Your dad would be incredibly proud Sean. This book is a real game changer.

Daughter loved it. Her book reports were interesting. I highly recommend this for young teens that think they know it all.

My 16 y are old daughter is very disappointed in this; she felt that the overall theme was to shame teen girls and found the book sexist and dated in its social messages and outlook.

Great book. Just a shame it took 6 flipping months to arrive.

Excellent book for both teens and their parents

I have purchased this item 3 times for various family members and friends, so this is a second hand account of the feedback that I've received.The parents have loved the book and they feel that it is almost like a parenting guide for them. So this book is suitable not just for teenagers but adults as well.I will warn you that in some cases it will make the parent(s) frustrated because even though they think there is immense value in the book and the content, some kids are just not interested in reading! They either skim thru it, pick out bits and pieces or just don't bother at all.
