It was great while it lasted
I loved this battery while it lasted. It ran longer than my B&D battery, had no problems charging, and held a charge for weeks or longer between uses. But, two years later and it's dead. It went from fully charged to drained while sitting in the garage for a couple weeks and now gives a bad battery indicator when I try to charge it. I'm still giving it 3 stars for the two years of good performance, but was hoping to get at least a couple more out of it. (My OEM B&D battery is something like 6 years old and still running strong.)And don't believe this seller's "3 year warranty". I tried to contact them a week ago and they never replied. I called Amazon to see if they can reach out to the seller and get them to respond, and they're just refunding me for the item instead.

Great Battery as good as original
Was skeptical about getting this battery as it is half as much as the Black and Decker brand of the same specs. Was also skeptical of the 2.5Ah as the model number is 2040 which I thought may stand for 2.0Ah and 40 volts. After using it, all doubts are lifted. It is great and I can mow the lawn again!More background, I have about every B&D lawn tool there is in the 40V range. Mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer, blower, chain saw, and you name it, I've got it. So I have a lot of batteries, right? Wrong. After three years, my batteries are dieing off. Basically they will not even start the mower for more than a second. They may power the smaller tools for a few minutes, but that's it. Going from full charge to zero in just a minute or two. So, I went from 7 batteries down to basically three "good ones" that I could only cut half my yard with.In walks this new battery. Get it in the mail, and throw it on the charger to top it off. Throw it in the mower and it already sounds better. Seems to keep the "revs" high and doesn't bog down in high grass like it did with any of my old batteries. Cut the entire back yard and still have half a charge left. The front yard killed all three of my old batteries. So the verdict? I love it. It is strong, lasts long, and when I got done I threw it on the charger and it started charging again right away. My three older batteries were so hot and drained, all I got was the "overtemp" light and they will have to cool for hours before taking a charge.I liked it so much I ordered another one. I was considering getting an 80v mower, but this battery has saved me from making that $500 purchase and my B&D mower is now going strong again.Go ahead and buy one, maybe two.

Does not last long enough
I bought this battery which I thought was a good deal at the time and it worked perfectly for just two summer season, then it suddenly stop charging. Meanwhile, the original Black & Decker battery still going strong after 8 summer seasons of usage. So, in the long run, it pays to buy the original then buying a cheaper brand that would fail you when you need it the most. So if you want to buy this battery for the price, go ahead but may not last for the length of time you would hope to get out of it.

fits my lawn equipment as needed
So far I have used this battery I think 3 times. I have had no issues with it charging on my Black and Decker charger and it has powered the lawn equipment as I needed it to do. So far I am pleased with my purchase. I am not giving it 5 stars because I am waiting to see how long the battery will last.

Works great after multiple uses.
I have used this over ten times now and they are preforming better than the originals. I did have the flashing light on my charger after the first use, so all I did was take them off the charger for about five minutes and then put them back on and they charged up. The originals will do the same thing however over time they are losing capacity. My guess is the charger is overly sensitive and when the batteries charge they over heat sensor trips. I will buy more when my original Black and Decker battery completely dies. They are just back ups now. I do store these and all my other batteries inside the house because the heat in the garage tends to kill rechargeable batteries.

Good battery for the money
Use this for a backup on my much abused chainsaw. It now outlasts the mfg’s battery. I use my chainsaw every weekend on my wooded property. Good value for the money.

Customer Service is the Difference!
The battery arrived, and worked great for about three months. Unfortunately, it then no longer would charge. I contacted DSANKE through Amazon's contact seller function, and a day later Dsanke apologized and had refunded my money. Unfortunately, the replacement is currently out of stock, or I would immediately buy another one from DSANKE. No parts are perfect, and occasionally, there will be problems with any purchse. How a seller handles problems is what makes the difference. DSANKE ranks right at the top. I'll purchase from them again as soon as the battery is back in stock!

Battery brought my leaf blower back to life!
My old battery just would not take another charge and so I purchased a new 40 volt lithium-ion battery from Amazon.com...It arrived just a few days later and I charged it on my existing charger and then preceded to use my leaf blower and I had my old volume of air back...This battery should last quite a while as the other battery had so I'm off to blow more leaves off my pool deck and driveway with a regenerated leaf blower.
