Alcoholic, Addict. 5 years sober *Cheers* Anyways a friend i made got internet and i paid for it but i was a pushover allowing her to put the modem in her apartment. Back then i didn't research anything like i do now due to drastic changes in myself. I was worried because of the length i needed to run from my apartment window to hers it would cause lag in my game. I was a hardcore gamer, MMORPG, Usually Everquest 2 which the pics are from, Tasim my wood elf bruiser and Lilith my drow/dark elf shadownight. The games graphics are insane and built ahead of it's time when it came out, created to expand as devices got better and faster, even making long time players PC unable to play it. I had zero lag, even with raids i was kicking butt, middle of night running to every zone that had a dragon to see if it was up then have a raid party ready less than 15 minutes, thats massive graphics everywhere, 24 people in a raid in a small area with no lag. Streaming tv and movies were like i actually had cable just no commercials lol. Never had that annoying loading sign show up, just Netflix if i am still watching which i wish they would stop interrupting my shows i loose my remote halfway through the first episode i start when i start binging. lol.Do your research though on anything and everything. Don't trust reviews on here there are websites where people place their own ads listing their prices for each type of review they will do for you. Some even get the item they are asked to review as well as getting paid to review even dropping big names to boost sales. Reddit, Quora, and other sites along the same lines as well as asking people on your Facebook and twitter what they think is better than believing any reviews you see on here except for the ones that are certified by Amazon as a trustworthy source for reviews. It used to be a joke making fun of items doing fake reviews too bad people are greedy taking away the fun so they can take away our money with fake reviews instead.To the company i purchased this from, in no way is the above about your company in any way. I try to warn people of this stuff, try to do the right thing and save people not just money but time which is even more valuable. It is my way of giving back to the world even if it is just a small thing it can make a big difference in someones life. As a person that is way too familiar with homelessness and going to bed hungry being poor i can understand even a $10 product being a failure can mean the difference between mom or dad eating dinner that week, or having gas money to get to work, having copay to get desperately needed prescriptions filled. It doesn't seem like enough money to make a huge difference in some bad ways if lost to some scam reviews for a failed product, but even $5 can make things even more difficult. There's a reason, its because it's more expensive to be poor than rich. True fact. I just hope people read my reviews and start being more careful taking advantage of all these websites besides the main 8 sites being the only ones they have ever used and do alot of research from many sources before making a purchase. If this helps just one Mom go to bed with a full stomach and a smile knowing her entire family has it to, would be enough for me.Thank you for this product, It literally was just long enough to go from her apartment, past two other ones on the outside and into my window. That place didn't even have a tv to watch so having internet since cable was impossible, is the one thing that kept me sane lol so thank you. Excellent product.

I was a bit trepidatious about purchasing this item due to the hit or miss reviews. Sure, it's not a super high end cable but I needed something simple and cheap to go from my router to my kids xbox 360 so I gave it a try. What do you know? It worked perfectly! Mine arrived in a reasonable amount of time and was packaged well enough. Mine had no broken ends or bare wires like some of the other reviewers had experienced. I really have nothing to complain about as it fulfills it's purpose. It's plenty long enough to run from my router box to the xbox 360 and it allows online gameplay on that system. Exactly what it was bought to do! So much cheaper than purchasing a wifi adapter that's compatible with the xbox. My kids are happy and so am I, it's win/win! The cable seems decent enough and it clips in securely to your device. I wasn't looking for a super, high end cable with the highest speed rating available and I really can't comment on how great it is for a situation like that but I can say that it works great for what I'm using it for. I'd buy it again to serve this purpose if I ever needed to again.

I still can't figure out how Staples and other stores manage to sell these for 10 X the price. Cable is thinner than some, so presumably less appropriate for applications with on-going flexing. But the thinness, flexibility and color make it very suitable for permanent or semi-permanent applications. Cheaper and easier than buying the wire and connectors separately -- and you will be glad to know that the length was exactly right for my application. I am using it to extend the ethernet connection in my house to connect a computer to the internet that is in a spot where my wifi is weak. It works fine.

Okay, not sure why everybody's been giving this a five. I needed a Cat 5 for my 5 yo granddaughter's computer so she could read my hard drive for the movies and stuff. We moved the computer and the old cord was too short. This was cheap. However, 50 feet was a bit excessive, but that is what I ordered and what I got. Hey, better to be too long than too short. I hooked it up and it works just fine. Why the four? Well if I was using it where it was open to the animals (a couple of kittens) or a child hell bent on destroying things and playing with things they shouldn't, this is not the Cat to use. It just doesn't feel like it would hold up to being pinched, bitten, rolled over, etc. However, I wound up the excess, dropped it behind the computer, ran the cord up against the wall to the ceiling, through the ceiling to my computer and so, it works just fine. I am just basing the 'feel' against the other half dozen or so Cat5s running around the house. I'm old school, therefore I prefer hardwired versus wireless. I've piggy backed routers to strengthen the signal for the cell phones, etc. So, for the money, it's a good deal.

We used this to wire our Xbox one directly to our internet and we ran it under the carpet along the walls. The plugs on the end seem pretty sturdy as long as you are using them properly.One thing that I noticed is the white outer material is shiny and bends very easily and doesnt look like a solid cord like a charger has, this didn't matter for us because our cord is hidden, it might make a difference for someone who was going to have the cord exposed.

I ordered 2 cables and they were delivered prior to it's estimated delivery date. These cables were bought to connect it to a outdoor WiFi security camera to increase it's performance. Surprisingly, these cables are working extremely well even outdoors. The cables are very skinny and doesn't have a hard protective layer to prevent any cuts. However, if you are planning to connect it and leave it in one place, this product will meet your needs also at a good price. I don't think that the cables I received are identical to the ones shown in the pictures, but it didn't impact me.
