Worked for my surface pro 7 perfectly, charges it quick, good price, has held up for over a year have had no problems with the fit and has never over heated and doesn't weigh a ton so easy to throw in my bag with my surface.

I rarely go out of my way to write reviews for products I write, but this one made me so compelled. It does what it is designed to. Charge my Surface pro. It has a long cord, so I don't see any inconvenience in being a bit aways from the wall. But what really sent me over the edge was the accoutrements. On both cables supplied, it comes with velcro ties that make it so you can cleanly wrap up the charger. Fantastic for travelling with. The ability of also being able to convert the block to a plug in for the sacrifice of a longer cord is also great insight. Sometimes the outlet is right in front of you, and an extra long cord can be cumbersome. The attachment really does a good job of allowing for varied use. And finally, adding a usb port on an adapter was honestly genius. A+ move in my book. I wish to see this more on charging blocks from now on. Would honestly buy again/ recommend to a friend if they ask. Actually, I'd recommend it even if they didn't ask, 'cuz they should know about great design like this.

Ordered and received In 1 day. Great because I needed my computer. I have had my cord go bad twice on my 3 year old Surface Pro. The secret is to remember how to get that ugly picture of a battery going low screen off. I have to get on my mobile every time and check how to turn off Surface Pro, with black screen and picture of low battery to get my computer to shut down and restart. You hold down the on/off button and count 30 to 60 seconds. Computer will shut down and if ou continue to told it will restart. Or when it shuts down restart by pushing on/off. Every coder I have ever known always says, "when in doubt... shut down, count to 60 and restart" . Knowing how to shut down has been hard to get into my thick brain till I look it up on internet; I bet Alexa knows too. ha ha Enjoy!

I was skeptical because this wasn't the Windows brand but it had good enough reviews at a nice price so I purchased it - it's so nice, they thought of everything on this cord - I love the mini wall plug because so often you don't need "part 2", if you do use both cards it's nice and long, and the fact they left room to plug in your USB charger was brilliant! Love putting the cord in the travel bag it comes with too, vs in my bag all messy, Bravo!

Travel charger for a Microsoft Surface. I’ve been using it for at least 4 years and it continues to do the job. It comes with a little fabric case which seems generally study, but has lost a few stitches along one seam. If it stops there it will be fine, but if it continues, it will damage the integrity of the bag. The case has one zip-pocket, and one open pocket on the inside, and zips closed. The best aspect of this cord is the fact that you can shorten it with a wall-plug that attaches directly to the ‘brick’, eliminating the second cord from the brick to the wall. It takes up less space, but covers less distance that way, so you need your outlet to be close to use it. In my case, I often use the cord with a portable power bank to charge the tablet in the car, and less cord is a benefit in that situation (note: your power bank needs a regular outlet—there is no USB->Surface charger that I could find). Yup, found me one of those on Amazon as well. Like all Surface chargers, it is easily pulled from the charging port which has the down side of unexpectedly interrupting your charging and the upside of not having your device pulled off a table if someone collides with the charging cord. Summary: the charger does its job just fine and comes with the bonus ability to shorten the cord and plug the ‘brick’ right into the wall. The bag isn’t durable, but wasn’t the point of the purchase for me.

I purchased my Microsoft Surface Go 2 on Amazon and of course it came with a US power brick. Since it works in both 110-240V I could use a wall adapter from US to EU. However, I found that it's less safe since every time I connected it to the wall outlet there were "sparks cracking" going on; a common thing when using adapters versus a proper cable from head to toe. So I looked for a proper power brick with a figure-8 socket which I could just use with a solid figure-8 cable from one side and EU connector from the other that could be purchased locally in my country. This power brick serves this very purpose. I put the original US power brick aside and use this one to charge my Surface Go 2, and I get no sparks when connecting it to the wall outlet.

Works perfectly. I needed a quick replacement for cheap and this has been great. It charges quickly and I’m able to store it better than the original.
