I’ve been very pleased with this product. It arrived on time, well-packaged, and in excellent condition. The quality is solid, and it performs just as described. It’s clear that attention has been given to both design and usability. What I appreciate most is the balance between quality and value — it feels reliable and worth the price. I’ve had no issues so far, and it has met (and even exceeded) my expectations. I’d happily recommend this product to others who are looking for something dependable and effective.

The functionality is dependent on vehicle manufacturer, but it's a great unit. You can use one brand, but can add others for £22 if you want FULL error code interpretation. You can just use the generic EOBD, get a code and go online to find out what it relates to. I had a "Forward Alert Not Available" message on my 2019 RR Evoque. Used this, Identified a fault U3000-96 which is the image Processing Module A (Chinese Bosch AEB unit) even gave module information with an internal error 466. Couldn't clear code permanently due to faulty unit. RR dealer wanted £1200 to interrogate the ecu and replace the IPM if it was faulty. I bought a used one off ebay for £27....!!! Managed to workout what error 466 related to and swapped a camera within the ipm with my ebay buy. Now works fine, no fault codes. ***This unit resets the service interval which many others fail to do.

I use this for a 2018 Vauxhall Insignia B, the clear code function works great but couldn't do brake reset as it doesn't have the model in the options

The potential of the device is good and I know some of you will disagree with my current 1 star rating however until I can correctly select my vehicle it is simply a pointless tech gadget. I have contacted AUTEL support but only because I had to due to very confusing and misleading information. The VIN I provided does not decode, the automatic VIN read option does not work and the manual selection does not provide enough detail on engine type to make a correct match. I am currently at a guessing stage which is not helpful or assuring. The datafile installed was the one recommended by AUTEL so I guess at this point I am still waiting on them to help identify the correct engine type for my vehicle. This whole process should be much simpler and their auto select function needs attention.

This is a little gem. I read about it on a forum after wanting to make my own spare, I was looking at £250 if I went via a dealer/Timpsons. There are many far more expensive diagnostic tools out there that cost hundreds which can do the job, for the price I was very sceptical about this little tool. I tried it yesterday and it worked perfectly, got a spare fob and coded it to my car. All in about £75. It comes with one free car make download of your choice and you can buy others as/if needed. The diagnostic capabilities are decent too, you can clear, reset and reprogram with this tool. Give it a shot.

You download a specific file for free, any others are at a cost. On my experience this item does not do what it says on the tin. Will do oil reset but not on my car. Pile of crap money wasted, still waiting for them to contact me to see why it's not performing basic commands that it states it does

Does the job was able to code injectors on bmw and find and clear fault codes on Mercedes worth the money
