I've been taking watercolor painting lessons for a few years now, and I'm just never quite satisfied with brushes I've bought. This set of 3 is perfect. The size range is good. The price is fantastic. The large brush holds plenty of paint and water to do washes for the sky and water. The small brush is perfect for fine detail, and all of them hold a point perfectly. I did both of these paintings using only these 3 brushes, except for wetting the background with hake brush.

These brushes are extremely “juicy” as they hold tons of paint. A few straggling hairs fell out at first, but they seem to be staying put now. I’ve never owned anything but synthetic brushes, and there is quite a difference. I’m hoping these will last a long time. Perfect sizes for any work and unbelievably sharp points.

The quality of these brushes is surprising. If you are looking for natural-hair brushes that hold a ton of water, which are great for both washes AND have a nice fine point for some detail work, I highly recommend these. I am not disappointed in these, and will be ordering more brushes from this brand. I have had my set of these for a few weeks, and clean them with The Masters brush cleaner and preserver, and they look like new. Highly recommend this brush cleaner BTW if you are new to watercolors/investing in good brushes, and haven’t come across a recommendation for it yet. Also - for the finest details and just about everything else except large washes, the best brushes IMHO are the Silver Co Ltd Black Velvet brushes. Note that they do not hold as much water as this listing’s set. I need both types and that’s pretty much it for all my watercolor painting!

These are so soft, hold a point, and hold TONS of water and paint. The only issue I saw was a few stray hairs coming off during the first few painting sessions, but it's mostly tapered off. I think they'll hold up fine for quite some time. This is worth it for a cheaper, yet still quality set of mop brushes.

I’ve used these brushes for several paintings and I’ve found them to be a joy to work with. No hair falling out, no problems at all. They come to a really nice point. I have paid so much more for similar brushes. they are definitely worth the money.

This set works just as well as my much higher priced da Vinci petit grid pur squirrel hair brush. Brushes maintain a nice point and hold quite a bit of water. There is a bit of a learning curve if you’ve never used this type of brush because it’s easy to over saturate the brush since it holds a lot of water. It’s well worth figuring out and a pleasure to use once you do!

There is nothing to dislike with these well made brushes. They hold the paint so well, the handles are a great size, and they clean up so nice. Well worth the money and the shipper was great.

Its. ok. Just got them. They are soft and some are falling off already. I mean it could be dog hair for all I know? It came from China. It's cheap and not European made soo you do get what you paid for. I do hope this lasts me for a long time.

These brushes are great! They hold so much water and paint, they are definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you’re using cheaper synthetic brushes like I was. I’ve used them a few times now with minimal shedding so that’s a bonus! Some of my cheaper brushes shed a lot which has ruined a few paintings of mine. They also hold their shape well and you can get a variety of lines from them. I’d definitely recommend these if you’re looking for good quality mop brushes. They also come in a really nice box which would be suitable for a gift!

I took a chance on these brushes and I'm glad I did. They are fantastic. Squirrel hair holds a ton of water and may take a little getting used to since they have no snap, but these are a delight to paint with. They came beautifully packaged (although the box was a little dented from transit) and you need to soak the brushes to remove the sizing - they are heavily coated. But overall wonderful brushed for watercolour.
