Excellent, high quality product. Performed as advertised.
Purchased on the 1st of June and had it by the 3rd of June. Just tried it out today. Love how easy it attaches without needing to make any alterations to my canoe. I have an Old Town Saranac XT146 canoe. Without stabilizers, my canoe was so tippy,I could not make a move without it wanting to tip over. These stabilizers made my canoe very stable. My canoe is 36.5 inches wide at its widest point. I purchased the 45 inch mount so I had approximately 4.5 inches sticking out past the gun rail over the water. Very glad I got the bigger size. Plenty of room to paddle between the floats and the side of the canoe.8/22/2021Still works great but got added value from this kit as it becomes the main mounting base for my new sail boat kit from sailboatstogo.com. Their sailboat kit attaches to the unused channel of the mount for the leeboards and bow sprint where the mast mount sits. I was excited by the fact that I could turn my Old Town canoe into a sail boat just by adding a sail kit to it. It requires no tools to mount the sail kit just like this stabilizer kit.

Almost perfect.
So the one thing I can say is I wish I had this kit sooner. I am a big guy at 240 lbs and even with the pontoons all the way in it takes the tippynes out of the equation. I slide them out only one setting to achive stand up fishing from a notabley tippy Meyers Sportspal s-12 with a 4 inch Higher seat than traditional bench seat.. I run the pontoons as high up as they go to i don't drag them and it totally improves my experience on the water 10 fold. Now to the bad part of this kit. No matter how tight i crancked the blue pontoon adjustment handle one of my pontoons would always turn and that effects the draft of the canoe dramaticly. I did the same thing anthor reviewer did and that was to drill a straight hole throught as you can see in photos and added a safety pin from home depot. the size is in photo. this solved the problem and now I am happier with my canoe than I was with a fancy fiberglass bass boat. Super stable and you will wonder why you haven't bought years ago. Ps I ordered the 45 inch and love it as i suck the pontoons in all the way when trying to travel fast to my fishing spot. To Spring Creek Manufacturing thank you for such an amazing product, but please add a pin to keep pontoons from rotating. Have fun. Be safe. Fish on!

solid quality, great stability
Best stabilizers for canoes I could find. I use canoes to fish, including with kids and inexperienced paddlers. This provides great stability - enough to stand and cast. If you have kids or a dog and want a stress free float, get this. Light, easy to mount and take down on a couple minutes. Game changer for fishing/kids. Agree with negative comments about the cam design not awesome to hold the floats. It works, but they should have just used square tubing with slide out button like the slide out bars.

Super high quality, super versatile construction, and actual works
As shown in the photo, this product managed to fit on this moster 17" canoe. The edge that these products need to attach to is on the outside as opposed to inside (and unfortunately most products are designed solely for inside edges. I just flipped the clamps around and they worked without issue. I got the biggest size, which I recommend if you have a flatbottom canoe, and as you can see they are plenty of the sides to do their Jon (and they certainly do). This normally tippy canoe is now solid and allowing me to fight muskies and bass on the lake without worrying at all about if I'm taking a swim.

Nice but expensive
Nice accessory, seems pretty expensive for what it is, I didn’t want to make something and there is not a lot of alternatives for canoes

Keeps my afloat!
Great for women with husbands who like to do the “Hawaii 5-0” move in their canoe! Put these float stabilizers on our canoe so we can stand up and get in and out of the canoe without flipping over. I was getting tired of my husband flipping the canoe over on me from him doing the “Hawaii 5-0” move! It was NOT meant for “wife friendly” canoes!

Good Quality Stabilizers
Definitely a little on the pricey side but good quality and does the job intended. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Look at the other reviews showing the fix for the floats turning sideways at higher speeds…. Fix Works well. I would recommend these stabilizers over the blow up floats for sure. Better looking and more adjustable for sure.

expensive but it works !!!
works very well for what it was designed for ..however ......it may interfer with paddle stroke on short canoes like a 13 ft'er. ..Better suited to longer canoe's . I had to mount it forward of where I sit to keep it out of the way on my Wee Lassie 13ft canoe...and had to still use a short paddle
