Wear with flip-flops to keep them stable.
I have rather large bunions on both feet (almost as bad as the little drawing there), and it seems they just keep getting worse year after year. I ordered this to possibly re-train my big toes back into position over time (don't know if this is possible, but hey at least I feel like I'm doing something!). They can slip around a bit, but I've found that wearing a pair of slightly stretched-out flip-flops over them to wear around the house seems to keep it all in place just fine. I don't think I'd wear these out anywhere, but around the house and in bed seems to be ok. I've ordered a couple of pairs of smaller rubber correctors to try inside shoes, but since they're coming from China, it may be two months until those arrive. One thing I've noticed right away is that my overall balance seems slightly better while wearing these. After I take them off and my big toes slip back into the old position, I notice a bit of unbalance. I wore these while exercising this morning on the cross-trainer (standing up) and it felt great.I give this 5 stars because they're doing what they're supposed to. I may order another pair. I ordered the ones for $12.99 from Amazon rather than $6.99 from China because I wanted them right away.

Skeptical, but it works!
I was skeptical, but these toe separators dramatically reduce pain in a bunion I have on my right foot from foot drop. I have bought all kinds of bunion products, but never found anything that worked very well. I decided to buy this product, even though I was skeptical, because it's very inexpensive, and I was desperate. And it works! As long as I'm wearing this toe separator, I have little to no pain in my toe joint. However, as soon as I take it off, the pain is back. So I don't think this is a "cure" for bunions, but it keeps me out of pain. It's best to wear the separator with socks, shoes, or slippers. I wear mine with slippers when I'm home, and they fit in a pair of shoes with a large toe-box that I wear to go out. You could also sleep with them on, but I don't because I don't want to wear socks to bed. The separator is very comfortable to wear, and I can't tell I'm even wearing it a few minutes after I put it on. If you have painful bunions, these inexpensive separators are definitely worth a try.

Pain Relief Even For a The Worst Case Scenerio
I ordered these out of desperation for some type of pain relief from my horrible bunion. My case is "bad", my great toe actually crosses over my second toe. I'm adding the fore mentioned because others may suffer from the same. I have now been wearing this ( right foot only) for one week & yes, I am having relief. I am wearing it 24 hours a day because I have pain 24h/day. It is a bit awkward at first, not at all uncomfortable, just awkward but I now barely notice it is there. Would I recommend them? Yes I would because the only other alternative is surgery(which will happen for me in Spring). They are very soft gel/silicone. I read one of the reviews & it said something about Velcro, there is NO Velcro, it just slips over the great toe. It is a pack of two.

Happy I found these
These are an essential purchase for forefoot reconstruction post-op. The usual post-op to separators are annoying and they feel so dirty after each nights sleep. These correctors aren't like that at all! They are easy to use, comfortable to sleep in and provide amazing support. They can be a little painful if you "over correct" so be sure to follow the instructions when putting them on to avoid that.I wouldn't recommend them for people with really bad pre-op bunions - the deformity is too hardened and it would take years of wearing these before any movement could take place. If you have a mild bunion, I think they would work ok.

Works and Worth It
I was on vacation with my family and I looked at my foot and told my mom that I had a bone that was jutting out the side. I just thought that my feet were getting bonier for some reason. My mom, regrettably, told me it was a bunion. The more I researched bunions the more I realized that I did indeed have the beginnings of one and that I didn't want it getting any worse. I bought these separators on the spot and they were ready for me when I got home. They're comfortable enough to wear without shoes on and with a little adjustment they're bearable with shoes on. I wear flats to work and I just have to get looser fitting shoes around my toes to feel comfortable in these (and honestly, if I had gotten looser shoes in the first place I might not to have bought these at all). I've noticed that my feet are less "bumpy" and definitely less red with the protection these separators provide. They're pretty discreet with flats (just a little bit of it showing) which was a big perk for me. Overall they're totally worth it.

Best Option
Best option for a bunion splint. I liked that I could order a size to fit my foot. I don't think these will correct my bunions but hopefully they will help them not get worse. These are actually confortable and can easily be worn around the house. You can put socks over them and fit them in slippers. I have tried the goodnight bunion woth are horribly uncomfortable and the hinged splints that are sold on Amazon were cheap and worthless. They are good quality and good price.

Great for turf toe!
My son developed turf toe from doing tons of flips and jumps every day. We tried the HappyStep Bunion Splint and it worked great. He gets relief the second he puts it on. He still can't do flips and jumps until it heals but the splint really helps with the pain. It's tight in a shoe so he tapes his toe when he puts a shoe on but otherwise he wears the splint when barefoot.

I recommend this over the model with the plastic side
Softer and easier to get my toe straight than other products I own. I recommend this over the model with the plastic side. However, this is not super comfortable or easy to walk around in. I tend to wear mine while watching TV, but my feet get too warm to wear this to bed. I use other products for when I hike or need something that I can wear all day. Overall, I recommend this product in your arsenal to combat bunion issues.

Small fits petite
For coverage I should have ordered large size

In a word: useless
I really wanted to love these but they were, in a word, useless. They slipped around as you walked so that my toes weren't at all supported for more than a minute or so, and wearing any type of shoe with these was impossible. Definitely not worth the purchase nor the hassle.

Good product
Good use but the red parts tend to move so I have to adjust them again when I do the exercise.

Five Stars
They fit nicely, time will tell if they can realign my big toe.

ELASTICITY would make these easier/perfect to slip on regardless of purpose
These provide great adjustability if you're looking to hold the big toe out/apart..The metal bar within (like a tongue depressor) appears intended to run along the inside edge of foot..My own need; to hold feet compact across the base of toes to prevent duck feet with age, in retrospect requires an element of elasticity to the product, which these do not have.
