Acousti-Lok Strap Lock Adapter for Standard Output Jacks

Pricey, but does the job. I don’t have to team out the holes on my straps.

I have the dreadnought version of the Seagull Entourage Autumn Burst QIT, and while it's a great guitar, the endpin drove me nuts. It looks to be an LR Baggs metric output jack that doubles as a strap button, but it's far too wide and shallow for a strap to fit. My options were to install a D'Addario CinchFit, an Acousti-lok, or widen all the holes in my guitar straps. First I bought a CinchFit, and while it works, the strap is held on by a large knot at the end of a loop. Should that knot get jostled and slide through...well, there goes your guitar. So then I bought the Acouti-lok, which was a pain to get on, but worth it. The endpin cap just wouldn't unscrew, and after talking with customer service at Seagull, I used needle nose pliers to wrench the cap off, cupping a piece of cloth underneath it so the pliers wouldn't scratch the guitar. After that battle, the Acousti-lok screwed right in and tightened in the correct spot first-try. I tested all my guitar straps with it, and it works as well as a regular strap button would. Highly recommended.

I don't understand why Taylor puts strap buttons on some of their guitars that seem to be designed to cause straps to slide off the end pin and drop your valuable Taylor guitar. I thank God that a company other than Taylor had the brains to create this perfect piece of engineering that keeps my Taylor GS MINI guitar from repeatedly dropping to the floor while I'm playing.

Someday I’ll find the one of these that I bought a year ago and I’ll have a strap lock on another guitar, but in the meantime, I finally have a strap lock on my Martin and this adapter works perfectly. I’m very happy with it, it screwed on easily, and there is room for the guitar cable and RokLok on the end of my guitar. Best, my strap doesn’t randomly pop off.

Very well made and does the job. However, I had to use a small foam washer to get it to align properly and stay snug, this sort of fitment accessory piece should have been included for the price.

Make sure you know what sort of pickup is in your guitar and get the right version. It works really well on the LR Baggs in my guitar. Now I can use a normal strap, or a locking strap system (but I haven't tried that), and still plug in. It holds tight without scratching the finish, it is really easy to install.

Perfect for my new Epiphone J-200 EC Studio Guitar. It allows me to use my favorite thick leather guitar strap and Lekato wireless transmitter. I recommend connecting the wireless connector or instrument cable first then the guitar strap. Otherwise the plug may not fit flush in the connector hole leaving A 1/4” space not fitting in all the way

Works great on acoustics with a small threaded plug. Now able to connect a strap properly.
