Great product - high quality and works well. Best entry level Kryptonite lock on the market that even comes with an attachment to hold your lock while you’re biking. Keys are high quality and doesn’t get stuck or bend easily. Lock holder comes with a rubber strap so it doesn’t scratch your frame. Option to register for kryptonite’s insurance program where if your bike is stolen they’ll refund you up to $2000 (if I’m not mistaken). And they’ll also send you free keys for free as long as you register them. Awesome company, awesome product, would buy 10 if I had 10 bikes.After using for about 2 weeks, commuting in NYC, the only thing I would recommend is tightening and adjusting the holder every week or so just so the lock doesn’t accidentally get in your way while riding.

It's hard to believe this lock doesn't get the highest possible security rating. It's heavy and thick and the type of locking mechanism means that even when cut through, the pieces will stay locked in place, meaning it has to be cut through a second time before a bike can be stolen. Plus, when attaching it to a bike frame, everything is infinitely adjustable: the clip on the lock itself can be rotated through 360° and the bracket which attaches to the bike has a fabric strap which can wrap tightly round even awkwardly shaped frame bars (like the D-shaped aerodynamic ones). The bracket's receptor clip for the lock is also rotatable through 360°, so the bracket and lock can be fitted just about anywhere on the bike frame that's safe, without taking up the space needed for a water bottle. A quality product, highly recommended.

My husband bought a fancy bike and for approximately 6.5 months he decided to “take his chances” with seeing if it would get stolen. It didn’t. I have no idea how, but said bike didn’t budge from the bike rack at his place of employment.But I’m a little crazy (a little?!) and constantly concerned so I surprised him with this lock for said fancy bike. It has yet to be stolen in the 3 months we have had this lock and I’m absolutely crediting this bike lock for our stroke of luck.It’s solid, easy to use, and locks. You’d need some pretty hefty bolt cutters to remove it. Will definitely purchase another for my own bike.

Easy to use and nice small size. So far, my bike didn't get stolen! But couldn't figure out how to install the holder on my bike.

Should have paid attention to the other reviews in which this products details of measurements is inaccurate. This lock is not even 11" as it is actually 9". Inside measurement is 7", width inside is 3.25". It will not fit neither of our Ebikes front or back frame which respectfully is a Letric XP 3.0, and Snapcycle S1. This would best fit regular non Ebikes.I believe that with the current design of the Ebikes with fat tires (when you add the frame) and need to secure it to a solid object our best move would be to purchase another type of lock.In short this lock feels durable, but it falls short on its description that's why we're giving it 3 stars.

great for locking front wheel to frame.

Purchased after my bike was stolen from my bike rack on car. Suspect they cut the wire rope lock easily with cutter and rode off on it. Having this will hopefully deter someone as they would not be able to ride off easily when installed between frame and back tire. Would have to take bike and grind lock off.Kryptonite does offer reimbursement protection if you register the lock and enroll in their service.
