Easy Assembly
Looks very nice and went together quite easily. I did use a few slight modifications to the instructions:1. Before using the screws, I put soap on the threads (I used bar soap, but liquid works, also). This makes them easier to screw in and less likely to break (assuming the holes are deep enough; if not, use a 3/16" bit to drill them deeper per an earlier post from someone else).2. I attached both sets of legs, one tightly, the other loosely (with about 1/4" gap before installing the rails. Then I tightened the legs a bit and screwed in the rails mostly in, but not tight yet. Last, I tightened everything.3. After inserting the plugs into the screw holes, I tapped them into place with the butt-end of a screwdriver, using folded cardboard to protect them.

Nice stools
Perfect height for our kitchen bar. Very sturdy and it's great to have extra seating.

Sleek
I ordered 2 sets of 2. Even though they are both the walnut finish, they are slightly different in color. Also, I noticed the lighter tone ones I had to place the wood pegs in the leg brackets where on the darker tone they were built in the construction.

Cool stools but have a bandaid and a sharpee close by.
The media could not be loaded. I would have gave these stools 5 stars but here is why I didn’t…First off, be careful when you open the small packages of assembly tools/parts. There was a staple end that was not secured (it was sticking straight out) when I went to open the bag, it stabbed me right through my finger. (That was def NOT fun) I had to wrap my finger with a paper towel for five minutes to stop the bleeding before I can start the assembly.I then proceeded to put the first box of two barstools together. Assembly was super simple. The barstools were great quality at a great price. When I opened the second box of 2, I noticed 2 of the legs had marks where the paint is totally chipped off. Another one had another scratch and on the metal part where you put your feet one of them also had like glue that leaked over or something. So that pair came “defective” but perfectly wrapped like nothing was wrong. I would have assumed there’s some sort of quality control???!Anyway, I decided to build them anyways, and literally used a sharpie marker to correct the flaws because I was not in the mood to return barstools that cost $80 for a pair. All in all, cool stools, but make sure you have bandaids and a sharpee close by.
