WhitesideWhiteside Router Bits 502 Round Over and Beading Set with 1/4-Inch Shank

Expensive, make sure your router can turn the bigger bits.
I bought these and have used them around 5-6 times to round over some edges of MDF and Plywood. They did the job. I can not get the 2 bigger ones to go through my Kobalt router base. I saw a video of someone making a larger plexiglass base for more stability and he said the larger router bits should not be used on small edge routers because it might burn out the motor. Takes more horsepower to turn and cut with larger router bits. Perhaps that is why the two larger bits will not fit through my router base. Should have bought just the smaller 3/8" router bit instead of the 5 bit kit.

Solid, good quality set from the top of the line brand
I used these bits to make maple trim pieces for my stairs using OF1010 router. Very nice bits, cut maple without effort and leave behind very smooth finish, both when cutting along the grain and across the grain. The box feels like economy grade plastic, but it is perfectly adequate for storage. I really liked storage in a foam insert because getting bits out of tightly fitting holes in wooden containers (e.g., a set which I got from a Chinese brand Woodland USA) or plastic (Freud - nice bits, nice looking individual bit boxes, but hard to get sharp bits out) can be a challenge. The bits arrived coated with protective layer of thin gel/plastic type compound which was easy to remove (no sticky oily substance as on cheaper brands). Beading set of smaller bearings is a plus, even though I did not need them. The advantage of having 5 different sizes in a set was that I could make samples using each of the bits, and then my wife and I decided what would work best. Compared to pricing of individually sold roundover bits available at woodworking stores, there is no much of discount for buying a set, but no premium for top of the line bits either. Highly recommended.

Best Quality Router Bits Made
My title here doesn't lie. I feel that these are the best quality router bits made today. I've owned and used hundreds of router bits in woodworking including: Amana, Bosch, Sears, Black & Decker, Vermont American, MLCS, Freud, Eagle America, CMT, and several others. Every part of them are US made. The bearings spin like no other, the carbide is ground exceptionally sharp and is of high quality, they hold an edge longer than any other brand and the set includes extra bearings and a hex key to make any setup you need. Even the case is of high quality. They are, however, very pricey. But if you will be using them more than a few times, it's the only logical choice to make. These are QUALITY!

You get what you pay for with Whiteside.
High quality bits. Not cheap but you are getting what you pay for with these bits. The case is nice and comes with an extra bearing . The bits are protected by a polymer dip that is easily removed and the bits were obviously oiled before being dipped in the coating. Top quality bits that fare very well in the reviews. I was not disappointed with this purchase and my expectation for Whiteside quality was fulfilled. You get what you pay for!

High quality.
Got this set but only needed one certain size bit to round over cut ends of treated deck boards for a new 50' x 20' deck. That one bit did all the cut boards on this deck (hundreds of cuts) and still going strong. Whiteside Router Bits are very high quality. Any future bits I need will definitely be Whiteside bits.

Great US made quality
Great US made quality First off, thank you to Whiteside and Amazon for offering such a good quality, made in the US product. These router bits ooze quality, and I can't wait to use them (2 days from now). I'm a big Freud fan, but I'm trying something else here, and honestly, I expect it to be very good. Peace. GW

These really work nicely. It is so easy to perfectly round the edges of any wood project you have. The bearings on the wheels are awesome. I've only used the bits 6-7 times, so no comment on longevity. One complaint, whoever glued the foam protector in place, did it backwards. So, the smallest bit is on the left. Not a big deal, just a bit annoying.
