You can not use the drain for 6-8 hours while it is working.
It helps the drains and they run clearly. You have to use this product on the regular

I personally feel that this is a good quality preventative product
This product was suggested by a friend. I decided to give it a try at one of my rental properties and I have determined that it is a good preventative maintenance product so this is something that sent out to my renters and suggested they use it every three months to prevent any major issues, as far, they have been no plumbing issues since I’ve started utilizing this. Easy to Use for Drain Clog Prevention
I live in a condo and use this product once a month as a preventive to keep my kitchen plumbing from developing clogs. It is easy to use—just desolve the product in water, pour down the drain, let it stand over night. It also comes in a liquid form which some of my neighbors prefer.

Easy to use… works best when using regularly.
I’ve used this product often on for many years. I’ve done that because I have a slow moving drain in my house due to the angle of the plumbing, and pieces of debris buildup in the pipe.Using this on a 4 to 6 week basis, three nights in a row, followed by flushing the drains with hot water, is keeping everything moving.Doing this has prevented me from needing a plumber to come out on an emergency basis, to clean my drains.

Ecofriendly
I bought this enzymatic cleaner maybe fifteen years ago and it worked really well. This time around it looks the same because the packaging container graphics are different, but the product does not work as well. I had to resort to using a snake and disassembling the bathroom sink to get faster drainage of water.

Got this for maintenance use. So won’t really know for about a year if it actually does anything.

pour half a scoop in the toilet and flush
The instructions say to mix one full scoop of the powder with warm water before use. We've been just pouring half a scoop directly into the toilet, let it dissolve for a few minutes, then flush it. Wait at least 6 hours before flushing again. We don't do this on a regular schedule; just when the toilet seems to be draining a little slow (every few months). Then we'll flush half a scoop of powder before we go to bed for 2 or 3 nights in a row. That seems to work for us.

Stopped My Smelly Sink.
My sink used to smell like sewage, and it used to stink up the whole house. I tried bleach and it worked for a couple of days. I found this product while researching on YouTube, and I bought it. So far, so good. I don't know how long it will last but for now, the smell is 100% gone. BTW, my p trap was clean, so the smell was coming from deeper down the drain.
