Impressed
This pair is the second pair of these shoes I have ordered. Both pairs fit perfectly. I ALSO have the same brand slippers. I have very flat feet, I need support around the arch of my foot, by I hate when my toes are squeezed. I hike, I run, I work out and I work on my feet. I wear them to work and to do all other activities, and I wear my slippers any other time! I have had a million pairs of shoes, trying to find the ones that wouldnt hurt no matter what I was doing... and I am happy to say, I have finally found them! Thank you so much, and I am recommending to EVERYONE!

Perfect
These are a great price and good quality. I love that they are easy to slip on and off. I have fussy feet and wearing barefoot style shoes has been a game changer for me. They are wide enough to let the toes spread. The arch isn't too severe which is good for me as I have had "fallen arches" before with other shoes. The sole at the toes make it look like they're the "glove" style of shoe, but they aren't that way, it's a regular shoe shape. Been wearing them a few months to run outside with my puppy. I even put them through the washer after I stepped in a giant pile of dog poo. I love these enough to get another pair in a different color.

Velcro strap is useless if you have a high instep; "hook" part catches on pant legs and other stuff
I ordered the all gray color with the velcro strap. Because I wanted to wear socks with them, I ordered a size larger than normal. The shoe fits great. The velcro was a BIG problem. The "hook" part of the velcro should have been on the strap, but it was on the shoe, so if you could not pull the strap all the way across, the "hook" part on the shoe would snag anything that came close to it, like my pants leg. I have a very high instep due to my hypermobility Ehlers Danlos and so the strap did not extend far enough to catch the velcro and it kept coming undone and flopping around. I solved the problem today. I cut the strap off and took a seam ripping tool to the stitching holding the velcro. Shoes look and feel great now...and no more snagged clothing.

Love them right out of the box
In fairness, I haven’t yet worn these except to try them on when they first arrived. However, the minute I put them on I was a fan. I have a wide foot and these fit beautifully. I’m not sure what to expect as far as durability for the low price point, but I intend to wear them casually, for walking and hiking. I got the pink/grey and they’re cute. I’ll update after putting them to the test.

Not bad for Vibram dupes.
These fit as expected, are cozy and super cute! We don’t wear shoes in the house so I wanted them for in-house-only shoes to wear while on the treadmill. They don’t seem to have the same quality stitching or insoles as you would get from Vibram, I wouldn’t expect them to, but they work for my needs. I’d prob return if I intended to do more hardcore workouts or wear them outside.

Getting lots of compliments
I really like these shoes, and I have them in a couple of different colors. (My fav is the pink cammo & I get compliments on these.) I've been choosing the barefoot style of shoes for about a year now, and I can see a huge difference in my body alignment. I no longer carry pain in my hips & my bunions have practically gone away. My large right toe no longer leans into my other toes. I will say that I do get achy feet and calves quite a bit just because my body is still adjusting to a normal balanced posture after 60 years of wearing regular shoes. However, while I am wearing these shoes, my foot feels balanced and aligned with my ankles and legs, hips, and back. If you're new to wearing barefoot shoes, you need to know that the soles are thin & flexible, so if you land on a sharp rock or similar surface, you are gonna feel it. It does take some getting used to, but it's so wonderful to have your weight fully supported on well balanced feet. There's plenty of room for toes to spread naturally, and the heel is perfectly snug. I'll never go back to the old toe squeezing, heel elevated, arch cradled shoes again.

These are awesome
I bought these on recommendation from my mom. At first, I didn’t think I’d be able to get my foot in the elastic around my ankle. I got them on and I’m so pleased. They’re a little long, but I wear a size 9. I ordered a 9-9.5. It’s more a 9.5, but they’re so comfortable. My toes have room to breathe. I wore them shopping and at work with cement flooring. The only thing is, the material on top is not insulated and my feet got cold. Anyway, I liked them so much that I ordered a second pair. And a pair for my husband and he likes them too.I’m an old lady. Your feet flatten and spread as you age. These shoes are so awesome for the toes. And arch support. If anything goes wrong, I’ll update.

Life changing
I wouldn't call most products truly life changing, but barefoot shoes are just that. I have circulation and nerve problems in my feet and lower legs and barefoot shoes increase the sensation to my feet. They make walking and working around the house so much better, even fun! These are well made, with a removable insole as well. Great product.

Really comfy, better than Merrell
I got these when I couldn't find the same model of barefoot Merrell running shoes that I had before, chancing it that a much cheaper pair might be OK.Initially I didn't like them as much, I thought they were rubbing slightly on the outer side of one foot. (This is my larger foot which was as a result of a calcaneal fracture years ago). But having stuck with them, I now love them. I have wide feet, and can be anywhere between 6 and 7, but I ordered 6.5 and they are great (though 7 would probably have been fine too). I always wear them with trainer socks. They are so comfortable. I think the sole is more foot shaped than the old Merrells, which is good. The bottom is slightly thinner, I think, but still thick enough that stony paths are not hurting the bottoms of your feet.I do loads of stuff in these, from dog walking, to running, to long hilly hikes. No problems at all. Obviously they would not be great in very wet, muddy, or boggy conditions, but having said that, I got my feet soaked in them stepping in a bog on the moor top, and they didn't rub despite still having 2+ miles to go. When running, they will make you run toe to heel without thinking about it, which means your knees do not take as much impact. With having had a serious foot fracture and uneven posture for years, I really think barefoot shoes have helped me strengthen my bad foot, because you have to use your feet muscles more (sometimes consciously), and not be reliant on the buoyancy of regular trainers. The extra effort has helped me to even out my posture, and even up the size of that calf muscle in comparison to my other calf.Barefoot trainers typically have thinner soles than regular trainers, which means they will wear out quicker. Which means you will have to replace them more often. Which means that I'm happy with the lower cost of these, compared to Merrell's barefoot shoes.Having worn barefoot shoes now for the last 2 or 3 years, I wouldn't go back to normal trainers. I would be very happy to buy these again when the soles wear out. I would recommend, even if you only want them for slobbing around the house, they are really comfy! Also, I think they would be fine if you put them in the washing machine, though I've not tried that yet.

Do not get wet - they go moldy very fast!!!
I really wanted to love these. In terms of a minimalist feel they're great, but the sole is a thicker rubber - I appreciated this as I do a lot of trails and hiking but if you're looking for a total foot to ground connection this maybe isn't the best. Also it is in NO way waterproof or resistant. Which is fine - it's not advertised as such. But what I'm really upset about - I had worn them on a slight mucky trail hike a week ago. When I got home I wanted to rinse them off and let them dry so the mud didn't cake in.I let them dry for about 12-15 hours by an open window in the bathroom (door open, fan running). The next day when I checked to see if they were dry, they were COVERED in mold. After such a short time. it makes me wonder what kind of bacteria lurks in there from normal use (if my feet get damp or sweaty)I'm undecided if I will even keep themI did recently order 2 more pairs as I didn't notice the different styles at first. If you order the all black with the velcro strap like I did, I recommend a half size up. They fit snug like a sock. I just ordered the lace up style hoping they will fit better but now I've seen how moldy these get after a quick rinse .. I'm tempted to cancel my order.Makes me wonder if anyone else had this issue.I wish I could return/exchange these ones as they are now ruined from a simple clean water rinse and air dry.

Amazing barefoot running shoe but size differs depending on colour!!
I’m adding to my original review below…I’ve worn the dark grey ones for a few months and the size is perfect. I ordered the all black ones to have another pair but the style is a bit different and they are a snugger fit. Still awesome, but I recommend going up a size if you are buying the all black style. I will be returning them and purchasing the next size. I’ve been a barefoot distance runner for years running in the Merrel Trail and Vapour Gloves. They changed the design and fit of those shoes and they were no longer comfortable. After I broke a bone in my foot, I feared barefoot running was over for me.I decided to give these a try as they seemed to offer a touch of extra padding under the big toe (where my injury was), while still maintaining a barefoot feel. I found them true to size with extra room in the toe box…which is necessary when barefoot running as your toes need ample room to splay naturally without feeling confined. This was an amazing feature compared to the Merrel barefoot shoes which are VERY narrow. They are very much a barefoot shoe but offer a slight amount of cushion under the big toe and heel which make your feet very happy. They are breathable and don’t smell at all. I recommend airing them out after each run…meaning don’t keep them sealed in a gym bag or cupboard and you won’t have any issues. I have never worn socks (which you shouldn’t in barefoot shoes) and have accumulated about 150 miles worth of running in them in the last 4 months. They don’t smell AT ALL and they look brand new! I couldn’t be happier with them. I’ve never gotten a blister or formed calluses as I have in other barefoot shoes. The interior is nice and soft. The price point is the cherry on top! Half the price of other barefoot shoes on the market!!I’m buying another pair to add to my collection.Don’t hesitate to buy these because they are inexpensive, they are a quality and comfortable barefoot shoe!!Happy running!!

Great transitional shoe! Grippy, even on ice!
I bought these shoes after reading a recommendation for them on a minimalist shoe site (i believe it was Anya's?), as I'm looking to transition to minimalist to deal with a number of persistent foot issues. They were super comfortable right away - very boxy toe with lots of stretch in the upper fabric. I tried them out running a few errands around town, then took the plunge and wore them on a short hike (4km) on snowy/icy trails - experienced NO slipping, even on steep up/downhill spots where my companion was slipping and sliding. My feet weren't even damp when I got home! I will be buying more of these, without a doubt! Now if they'd only make a pair of winter boots that could handle -40!

Fantastic!!
I love these shoes! I am a womens 8.5, and purchased the euro 39. I have many issues with my feet, I have hanglands deformity on the backs of my heels, and I have Mortons neuroma under my toes, and I have struggled for years to find shoes that fit the bill. Barefoot shoes are usually beyond expensive for a normal budget, and these were the highest reviewed shoes in my price range. And I am thrilled!! They are flexible through the entire shoe, so the boney spur on my heels doesn't get irritated and blistered, and the toe box is nice and wide so my toes can spread out naturally and my Mortons neuroma isn't bothered at all!! I have worn them to work for 2 days and I'm am absolutely sold. I will probably buy another pair in a few months in another colour, just to have options. Absolutely thrilled!!
