The best book I had for the exam.
I took the test yesterday and used this book and the example exam for 95% of the problems. I took other books and they only helped for two problems. This book has so much information, the key to using this is the buy the companion practice problem and example exam book, work all the problems using this book only. This will help in solving the actual exam. My only complaint is the the index is not always correct. It seems the index was created for the previous revision (which I have) and not completely updated. That said, the index is very comprehensive.

Made for Old Open Book Test. Still the Best We Have.
I'll be taking the ECC PE Exam this October 2023. In 2020-ish, NCEES transitioned most, if not all, of their tests from open-book to closed-book (and electronic). Upon receiving this reference manual, I was very satisfied with the sheer amount of information contained; however, it is very obviously designed with the open-book test in mind. After looking through the internet for alternatives, I discovered this really is the best thing we ECC Engineers have for the near future. The ECC exam simply isn't as in high demand as other exams (Civil, Power, etc.). And thus, doesn't have corresponding study material. I plan to keep Mr. Camara's books to study and see if they are of any help. The exam itself has not changed that much, so perhaps it is still useful. Here are some alternatives:Review courses (online, in person, on-demand). It's worth noting this reference manual is provided by the PPI2Pass on-demand course. I also have read that PPI2Pass is better than competitors.YouTube channels. There are a plethora of YouTube channels which help with the PE ECC exam, just search for them.Older books. Somewhere there are old, cheap books with very valuable engineering knowledge. Maybe they will help in your studies?I will update this review after the exam in October 2023 in how relevant the content was.

I passed
I only took my calculator a completed practice exam and this reference book to the test and I passed. This was the only reference needed. Definitely worth the money

Disappointed
I don't feel that the cost is aligned with the value of this book. I had hoped to use this book as a reference for the PE exam. I have been working out sample problems from various books... one obtained from the NCESS. I can tell you that I have only been able to find information/equations on about quarter of the problems I have worked. If you are looking for an all-encompassing reference book, this is not it. If you decide to purchase anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend that you don't use it as your ONLY reference during the exam.

Not updated for the current Exam
This review manual would be great if they did not include "for the NCEES PE Electrical Electronics, Controls, and Communications Exam" in the title. The exam is now closed book and you only get to use the provided handbook. Over half the formulas (and honestly the entire content) are never even mentioned in the handbook. A good majority of the examples and practice problems immediately jump to a formula not in the handbook that I will never remember and never be able to derive on my own during a test. If I will not ever be able to solve the problem in a test like situation, what is the point of practicing it?Overall, if you want a good general review of every class you took in college for your EE degree, this is a great reference manual. If you want a review manual to study for the PE exam, this is not it.
