How do you tell if probiotics work? I guess only if you have a big gut problem in the first place and it clears up. In my case, my daughter and I felt fine but started taking probiotics on the recommendation of a doctor. I chose these based on the price. There is no taste. They go down about like an aspirin does. I hope they're doing some good, but only my insides know.

These are cheaper probiotics and I need to take literally 7 or 8 of them with a meal for me to get any effect.
