KlipschR-5650-S II In-Wall Speaker - Black (Each)

What can I say, these in-wall speakers are fantastic. The dual horn tweeters aimed to each side are excellent for a broad sound stage, and a great addition to my 13.2 home theater system. I am using 2 sets of these (Main Surrounds and Rear Surrounds), and they sound amazing. I highly recommend these speakers if you are looking for good fit and finish, combined with excellent sound quality.

A little pricey for a rear surround speaker(s), but well worth the cost for a very clean in wall setup. While satellite speakers don't compare to speakers built in cases, these if properly installed, give a really clean rich round. The double tweeters built in, satisfied my concerns about replacing 15 year old aqustimas cubes with the ability to direct the split tops and bottoms. This gives the ability to have reflective as well as direct direction to the listening area.

Added these as my rear surround speakers for a 7.2.4 setup. Power led by marantz sr8012I was skeptical at first about the "in wall" speaker. Not for any real reason other then old rumors.I was blown away by these speakers. Amazingly clear and powerful sound. My rear sound stage came alive with the addition of these and the marantz upgrade. I couldn't be happier. I added acoustic egg crate foam in the wall behind the speakers.I even considered replacing my old Klpisch Rs3 side surrounds. But they are still doing a good job. If sonwthing happens to my original side surrounds, I'll replace them with these in walls.

I bought four 5650s and a big Klipsch center channel and I use Polk Audio speakers in the ceiling for the side channels.PRO:Aesthetically, they are the best looking speakers on the market. The grills have a very small bezel that provides a very clean look.The sound is very pure. I have a set of Polk Audio speakers in the ceiling that provide a bit crisper sound, but don't have the same range.CONThey're expensive, but worth the money.

Using as surround speakers in media room. Very crisp. The dipole speaker really throws the sound around.Speaker grills come in white, doesn't appear to be any other options? Poor form for Klipsch unless I am mistaken.I was able to paint the grills black using some fine mist spray paint...but for price I would like to been able to avoid that hassleOverall great speaker, solid construction and wonderful sound

I can't say enough great things about these speakers! They throw the sound so well, they can make 5.1 seem like 9.1 i love the magnetic grills, and the dogs hold very sturdy in the walls. Im glad i did it right the 1st time and chose these over the others!

I bought a pair of these for my front right/left speakers in my 7.1 surround system. I have the speakers mounted in a wall behind an Acoustic Pro Screen and they sound great! Especially when you crank up the sound. Amazing!
