It's ok for the price
I got this 10 Hole diatonic EastRock Harmonica in black to keep around as a backup. The price was so cheap it was worth trying out. I do have 2 ukuleles from EastRock, so I had a sense of the brand already. The ukuleles are good enough for my needs so trying their harmonica seemed safe.I have a few other harmonicas so I am able to make a comparison.I got a black one in the key of C. Visually, it's rather feature-less. Smooth covers with the Key only indicated in one location (whereas some other harps the key is on the comb and on the cover(s), etc). The case is acceptable. It will provide good protection, but it's not exactly comfortable in your pants pocket. No hard plastic harmonica case is very comfortable in your front pants pocket. I prefer to just wrap in a piece of cloth for such carrying. This harmonica is noticeably lighter in the hand than a Fender Blues Deluxe, a Hohner Blues Band and an East Top 008k. As a result, the tone is "less rich" and perhaps a little quieter.Out of the box all holes played on blows and draws. I was able to perform draw bends at least in line with my ability to do so. I haven't figured out blow bends yet, but I would imagine if you know how, it can be done.As with any harmonica one should take the time to gap the reeds to personal preference. It's not hard, I just haven't done it, yet. I would assume that would improve the playability. It seemed a little tight from my tests (hard to blow/draw).Overall, it's pretty basic, but it's cheap. The tone is fine, but nothing unique. If you're a beginner, you won't notice. If all you want is a super cheap harp that works, this will be ok. But, given that harmonicas aren't very expensive to begin with, for just a small amount more you can get a Hohner Blues Band. While the HBB isn't really pro-level, either, I find that it does have more character in tone and the cover plates are stamped which I find aesthetically pleasing.

Great for a beginner like me!
I am a beginner and this has been a great way to start learning. The carrying case is helpful so that I don't misplace it and it prevents damage. I am not an expert but I think the sound quality is good. It is a good size for starting out, easy to hold while learning to play.
