Bright, durable light that's suprisingly well built
I bought this light for inspection purposes. I needed a 365nm light to inspect for dust in semiconductor mini-environments. It worked great for this purpose -- highlighting dust much better than cheaper 395nm UV lights. But I was very surprised at how well it highlighted scorpions. I took it outside at night and found 13 scorpions on the first night and 7 more the second night -- and I didn't even know I had scorpions in my yard (Phoenix, AZ)! Scorpions light up like beacons under this bright light. I had no problems with the end cap as mentioned in one review. I suppose if you're turning the light on and off every minute or so for an 8-hour shift then maybe adjusting the brightness every time you turn it on might get annoying. But I just turned it on, adjusted to max brightness, and left it that way -- and I had no problems with it. Practically every LED light works this way. It should go without saying that this light is useless in bright daylight (or any kind of bright condition). It works best in complete darkness. It "kind of" works in dim light conditions.

Feels strong and works great
We purchased this to detect and monitor ringworm in cats we were fostering. Unfortunately, it lights up ringworm like a Christmas Tree. Well, maybe fortunately. The flashlight itself feels strong. It is sturdy and well built. Using it on cats, it got dropped many times. I had no doubts that it could take the impacts and it is still going strong. The battery lasts a long time on a single charge. It has been lent out to other cat parents several times and I don't remember the last time it was charged. The case is durable and convenient. I'd put this above the "tactical" flashlights being advertised.

Great little portable UV light for the money!
I bought this to replace a common 395 nm multiple LED blacklight I had been using, and so far like the portability and the power this little flashlight can put out. I have yet to try it in the field, but it seems to have a pretty good range, and brightens well the few fluorescent specimens I have. For comparison, I have provided photos. Photo 3, septarian in ambient indoor lighting. #4, with unfiltered 395 nm UV. #5 & #2 new LightFe 365 nm, high and low settings. (Lights held approximately 10-12 inches away in photos 2-4.) #1, using LightFe in ambient indoor lighting, approx. one meter from specimen (3 ft.) light held approx. 1-1/3 meters (4 ft.) from floor. Field use will tell the tale about battery life and durability, but it feels well built and sturdy. I look forward to spring, when I can get outdoors with this and see what it can reveal!

This torch is legit
To start I’m not a professional in need of a UV light. I am a pet owner that was in need of a light that would be able to find urine stains. I did some research and found that 365nm was the optimal wavelength for finding urine stains. Searching through the plethora of UV lights on the market, most being very affordable in cost but not listing the wavelength. After a few refinements I came across this one. Despite being more expensive it offered the wavelength and output wattage. This particularly states 365/395 and 10 watts. Reviews checked out and the quality seemed to be pretty good. Ordered. Upon arrival I was impressed with the build quality compared to a cheaper torch I bought years ago. Vast difference in quality. I found that the black out lense is built into the house so it’s not exactly removable. Not a big deal at all. What surprised me is that I was under the assumption that there was an ability to switch between 365nm and 395nm. It’s an on/off switch and if you slightly depress the button you can cycle between low, medium and high brightness. I was hoping that it was a switch between the two wavelengths. The complaint I have is that the torch is advertised as 10 watts. The instructions that come with the torch indicate optional max power of 5 watts. It was presumed that there would be a 10 watt output at each setting that doesn’t exist since both wavelengths apparently run at the same time? Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and it is beyond adequate for the purpose needed. I have been both astonished and disgusted with fluorescence within the home that this revealed. I would recommend this torch for its cost and quality. Just be mindful of how the specs read. To the manufacturer, I would have liked to see the end cap being purple on this torch like the next model down. It helps distinguish what it’s for.

Better than the Peedar and its ilk, but room for improvement
I have previously bought and tried several products for the purpose of identifying carpet stains, including the (in)famous Peedar, but none of them have performed adequately with our carpet; the stains were always virtually indistinguishable from the fluorescence of the carpet itself and/or the excess visible light spectrum emitted. I came to the conclusion that their inefficiency was due to their emittance of too much visible light spectrum and not enough of the invisible wavelength(s) that can make certain things fluoresce. Out of relative desperation, I again researched several much more expensive alternatives, focusing on products that claimed to emit light in the 365nm range. I eventually settled on this product as what seemed to be a reasonable compromise. It is indeed a compromise: it does perform better than the previous products, including the Peedar, but it is considerably more expensive and it still emits quite a bit of visible light spectrum. Is it really so hard or expensive to engineer a glass filter - or filters plural - with the right doping to block all but a narrow band of light centered on the 365nm wavelength? Even if a single filter is inadequate, two or three combined could surely do the job! This will work for us, but it's not effortless and requires a completely darkened room and much squinting to make out the contrast.

Pro : Solid aluminum construction ,easy to use, comes with 2 X batteries and spare O rings . Con: Instructions are translated from Chinese to English and adequate but could be better if written by a fluent English speaker and writer. Overall , Very impressed with the quality.

Torch is of high quality. It was not the cheapest but got it next day as promised.

This is a 3W light which is okay .. but should have purchased a 10W for the same price, and gotten a stronger beam

I wanted it for UV photography but its not bright enough. Returned and bought the UV365-D instead.
