Great for the price
I have used it for month. And this product is beyond what I have thought. Because my original lenovo battery was dead. So I went and ordered this to replace it. And it worked perfectly. It even lasted beyond of 5 hours of continuous use. I will recommend this because for month of use it has same battery life to current time. I would buy same product if I needed when it's time to replace for new battery.

Plug and play. Works great.
I have a refurbished Lenovo T430 that I bought a while ago. The battery life was never great, but after I while I could only use it when it was plugged in otherwise it would instantly die. So I finally bought a new battery and decided on this one. It was instantly recognized by my computer without issue and has worked really well. The battery life is fairly good. If it's fully charged and I'm only using my computer for light tasks like emails and Google Drive, I would guess I get 5-6 hours of battery life.

Only 86Wh, but brings back life into old Lenovo W520
Buying an off-brand battery can be a little bit of a gamble sometimes. You can get cheap replacement cells, or you can get newer genuine cells. I relied a bit on some of the reviews to determine this, so I wanted to provide my own review in order to add some additional information for other purchasers. I have included pictures of the new Bytec 9 Cell next to a genuine Lenovo 9 cell as well as some screenshots of the new and old battery stats from the Lenovo power management software. A lot of other batteries / reviews didn't provide this kind of info, so I wanted to increase people's confidence in buying this battery.Off the bat, you can see the battery is identical in shape and size. I have read sometimes that these do not fit securely in the laptops (play in the locking mechanism). I was very happy to see that this was not the case for this battery, and it clipped securely into place. I've included some images of the two batteries next to each other if you want to compare labels or details. Now to the important part, performance. My old, genuine battery (purchased new with my W520 in 2011) was dying. Like, within 40 minutes the laptop was completely dead. Looking at the Lenovo power management tool, it was showing somewhere around 45Wh of capacity left (which is less than 50% of the original capacity). This new Bytec battery is listed as a 94Wh version (should be a direct replacement), but as seen in the screenshots I am only getting 86.5Wh (which is a 10% reduction). This is why I am docking it down to 4 stars. If the battery is normally able to provide 300 minutes of run time, that's 30 minutes I am missing out on (roughly, not actually).Another thing to note: These are listed as SANYO cells by the Lenovo power management tool. It states the battery was manufactured in June of 2020, with the original use date being in 2013. I believe another user claimed they saw a weird original use date without any issues, but I haven't noticed anything odd.Only time will tell how this holds up over years. I've set a reminder in my phone to update after one year to see how it has held up. I have heard stories of these batteries being good in the beginning and then slowly tapering off.

Didn't fit and broke immediately on install. Bad Tolerances.
Right most latch tab broke off the second it was inserted, and the slider switch popped out. Now it's extremely loose in the machine. Absolutely horrible quality control and poorly constructed product. I was able to reinstall the switch, but the broken latch tab is a lost cause. If it was the middle latch, it would have been fine. Even the left tab might have been okay.Oh, and yes, the designed Watt Hours is wrong. But I knew that going into it. I should note to anyone who purchases, you will get 96Wh out of it, but the chip on it or reporting says only 84.24, yet after a few discharge cycles, it will go up to ~96 at full. At idle I get about 11 hours of battery life.

Stock battery life out of the box
The battery came in a really solidly packed box with lots of foam which was a plus, no chance of shipping damage. The battery reads as a Sanyo 45N1001, which I think is an original Lenovo battery FRU ID. The appearance isn't identical to my original battery but it's pretty close. From this I'm not sure if it's OEM or some kind of imitation, it could really be either. But that doesn't matter to me because it works great.I performed a few 100% charge/discharge cycles on my W530 to both calibrate Windows' battery meter and check out the performance. I'm getting around 2.5h to 80% charge and less than 1h after that to mid 90% which seems to be similar or equal to OEM battery performance. As for battery life the capacity (97ish Wh) seems to be accurate, as under normal video watching/web browsing/word processing conditions the laptop goes for around 4-5 hours and uses about 20W of power. If I just let the computer sit idle it seems to have 7-9h of time before it dies. This is pretty similar to what I remember from when the machine was brand new.All in all I'm happy, went from 40mins of life on the original battery back up to 4+ hours. My laptop is a laptop again!

Very happy (x3)
I was able to run a capacity check of this battery on my Lenovo T430 when first received , and it tested at 95Wh.That's slightly above spec, and much better than another brand of the same 70++ battery type. This is a great product so far!Edited 10/24/2020: Bought a second battery (for a different laptop) based on the performance of the first one. Again tested above spec, and is running rings around the unit it replaced.Edited 1/16/2022: The original battery (my first Bytec, that is) in my T430 lasted very well for about 22 months, and then kind of fell off a cliff starting 2 months ago.I purchased a third Bytec 70++ and the initial Lenovo battery gauge reset (capacity check) reads out at 97 Watt-hours, which is moderately above spec.I continue to be very happy.
