Stop Networking; Start Connecting!!!
Timing is so important in life. In the last couple of months, I have been emphasizing to my professional service firm clients that the winners in this soft economy will be those who, among other things, help others prosper in these tough times. A helping hand will mean much more in these times than in the (relatively) easy days quickly disappearing in the rear view mirror.Walla...I am walking through my favorite bookstore and George Fraser's book jumps off the shelf...right into my arms...as if to say, let me help YOU. And, that is what Fraser's book will do so well for anyone who thinks that networking is important to business success, and even life success. He will quickly convince you that networking is for minor leaguers. Major leagues connect! And, Fraser does a superb job of sharing his philosophies on how to connect better. No rocket science here; just a book jam packed with solid ideas, all woven into a personal philosophy of service to others in which I wholeheartedly believe. Many, many years ago, Zig Ziglar taught me "you can get whatever you want in life if you will just help enough others get what they want." I spent the ensuing years trying to learn how to live that philosophy. Fortunately, George Fraser now offers enlightened souls a wonderful roadmap as to how to make this philosophy a reality. There are other fine books on networking, there are none better than this one. Excuse me...did I say "networking"? I should have said CONNECTING!Bravo George Fraser. Hoping to connect with you some day, in person.

Networking Blue Print
Mr.Fraser's idea of networking is what your looking for if that is an important partof your business.I actually used some of his methods and they did work.I would suggest though that you try them in a large setting that way you can try differentones.Confidence is a must other wise it won't work well.

Fraser Rocks!
Such a powerful book in relationships. I loved his approach. He bring much common sense to that is usually not common. I gained new ways to approach relationships and my perspective on the importance of relationships with others was enlarged.

Click is *not* a good book.
Click is not a good book. In fact is has all the hallmarks of a particularly bad book:1. It contains just enough unique information to be a short pamphlet. Of course this has been stretched into hundreds of pages.2. Repeated definitions of words taken straight from a dictionary (writers.. please stop doing this)3. An abundance of tedious examples meant to hammer his points home, but in reality prove to be dull to and repetitive anecdotal 'evidence' of something not worth discussing in the first place. All in all the ideas are OK, but the execution is painful and beleaguered. And the 'proof' that each idea must be true is that the author knows someone who exemplifies just the nonsense he's driving down your throat. So there!

MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!
This is probably the best book I've read in a long time. I have something on every page highlighted. There is so much practical advice on becoming more effective at meeting people and developing meaningful relationships both professionally and personally. I highly recommend it if you are serious about becoming a better You.

Muito básico
Tem umas lições importantes mas são meio óbvias. A estrutura do livro é bem bagunçada, os capítulos invadem uns aos outros. Parece o tipo de livro pra vender algum evento ou mentoria.
