i wanted to have a study guide with the coding handbook but no question from this guide was on the test. no scenarios from this book was on the test. Maybe this guide was to prepare you for the test but I really wanted to be prepared but getting this study guide for the CCS was a waste of money.

I took the exam today and failed. This book is not even close to being accurate!! The exam is done on the computer, not scan-tron, so the two pass suggestion is not an option. All questions have to be answered in order. This book did not include any clinical records to review. The exam had 97 mc questions and 15 questions for clinical medical records. This book as it turns out did NOT help in anyway whatsoever!! The practice exam questions were not even close to the real exam questions.
