Does what it is supposed to do. Too large for me on limited counter space.

I'm not a connoisseur of bunsen burners, but this one seems fairly high quality. I can get a variety of flame sizes and the base is heavy so I don't have to worry about it tipping over. I'm happy with the purchase.

I unfortunately missed the return window and am stuck with the thing. It is a terrible quality bunsen burner. I have a degree in chemistry back from the days when bunsen burners were still used in college labs. I know how to adjust for a proper flame and how easy it normally is to do so. I wanted a Bunsen Burner for making TLC spotters, etc. All my husband (also a chemist) and I could get out of this was a lackadaisical yellow flame. This was when attached to a small propane tank (camp stove type with an additional needle valve) and gas pressure didn’t seem to be the issue. It should be easy to get a flame similar to a propane touch used for soldering copper pipes. Nope-look elsewhere.

This Bunsen burner is made good, doesn't tip over easy, and control works smooth. It's a nice burner, well worth the price.
