FS-4 Foot Pedal - Momentary Contact Switch Footswitch (3.5mm Mono Audio Cable, 6 Feet)

I'm using the FS-4 for gaming.Ergonomics - The internal switch is at the rear, and the switch is comfortable bearfoot, sockfoot, shower shoes, or regular shoes.Design - This is slightly longer and lower than the FS-3, the switch is at the rear. There's enough switch travel to produce a distinct switching action (unlike the micro-switches used by other companies).Durability - These switches will tolerate a lot of abuse, just don't drive a car over them.Adjustment - Adjustment is accomplished by where you rest your heal. This way you can achieve your desired resting positionwithout clicking the switch by accident.Audible click is a must for gaming, so you're certain of the key command. The click isn't too loud, it's under the desk.Sliding around under the desk. Using the switch for its intended purpose won't make it move around.Normal moving your feet around under the desk will move the pedals, so be mindful of this,or mount the pedals on a sheet of plexiglass or plywood, if you have a tendency to shift feet aroundunder the desk.I use 5 switches under desk, 2 FS-3, 2 FS-4 and 1 FS-2. After hours of gaming, I still haven't decided which Iprefer the most. The advantage of using different switches, is that they "feel" slightly different to thefeet, thus easy to differentiate.What you buy is personal preference. The FS-4's work fine, in tandem with the FS-2 and FS-3.

Pros: As always, Amazon return policy is bulletproof. This switch is so loud that you could hear it clearly for transmitting some last minute Morse code during a fire drill. If you are looking for a switch that you can hear backstage over live music, this is the one.Cons: This switch is at least 10x louder than a mouse click, this is probably the least stealthy switch I have ever heard. I'd clock it at about double the volume of the loudest MX blue switch I've ever heard. This switch is almost as stealthy as a locomotive horn. I tried it out at work and a coworker could hear it way down the hall nearly on the other side of the office. Buy this switch if you are looking to announce to the world that you are hiding something, or if you are looking for IT to come from another building to check and see if your mouse is broken. Do not buy this switch for use in a quiet office.I was unable to get the USB foot controller to program on either Win 7 or Win 10 (although that is more of a con of that product and not of this one).

It has a pretty loud clicking noise... so it's no good for shooting video with a teleprompter, unless you don't mind loud clicks very clearly heard in your audio. Probably fine for gaming though.

Made in America, the StealthSwitch F7 Foot Pedal is a simple device that does a simple job: when you step on it, it sends a signal to the StealthSwitch3 USB Foot Controller which then translates that press into the keystrokes you've programmed in. The unit itself is well-built and clicks with a solid audible click so you know it's working. I've had it about a week, and I've put it through its paces and it looks like it can stand up to a lot of use. It has a textured, black rubber surface on the pedal so your foot doesn't slip off and the unit has rubber feet so it won't slide around on the floor.

The product arrived in a timely fashion and worked as expected

I use one for push-to-talk on teamspeak, works great!
