The perfect riveting tool! Seriously!
Honest to god, no matter how mucgh money you spend you won't be able to beat this rivet gun, it's just so good! Stury - yes, Easy to use - yes, No force needed to operate it - yes, Different heads for different rivet types - yes! I love everything about this tool. This is a simply a genuine review from someone who has been seriously frustrated by other inferior rivet guns which were even pricier.I used some other brans and they were extremely hard to use, I had to sue both hands and still not enough to pop the rivet, or the rivet would slip, an endless nightmare. In fact other rivet guns frustrated me tro the point where I literally threw them out of anger. The workpro river gun, oh my god, it just solved all my issess. The rivet pops every time and it never slips, plus it's easy to squeeze, you don;t even need much force.I love this item, and honest to god would recommend 11 out of 10.And no, I am not sponsored nor am I a fake reviewer.Due to how satisfied I am with this tool I simply wanted to share my experience.

Good quality compact riveter - poor instructions.
I ordered this pop river gun having read the mixed reviews about how well they worked. Before using them I inspected them and they appear to be excellent quality steel. On the first use (4.8mm stainless steel, which is the maximum recommended) I selected the correct sized tip and pulled the handles out to the maximum to slide in the rivet mandrel. I inserted the rivet in into the hole and squeezed the handles up until the rivet mandrel broke. So far, so good! The rivet was well set and firmly attached to the work.It was at this point I thought the pop riveter had jammed. The mandrel was firmly stuck inside the jaws of the riveter. I fiddled around with the adjustable head but couldn’t get the mandrel out. I then consulted the two page pamphlet to confirm that I’d following the instructions correctly. It was only when I tried squeezing the handles together again, did I get the mandrel to eject from the rear of the jaws. Once I’d got the hang of it, it was easy to repeatedly set rivets with no further problem. The only thing I’d add is that due the the size of the rivers I was using and with the riveter having quite short handles, quite a lot of force is needed to set large diameter rivets, especially if they’re stainless steel. My advice to the manufacturer, and seller is to put a note in the box, explaining that the riveters handles must continue to be pumped until the mandrel is ejected from the rear of the jaws. Otherwise, I’m very happy with my purchase and have only taken one star off for the poor instructions.

Excellent Hand Riveter
The tool has now been used to set in excess of 60 no. 6mm x 12mm flanged domed aluminium with steel mandrel rivets, for joining aluminium plates together. I am pleased to say that it has performed flawlessly throughout. Some useful tips:Best to use smaller strokes where possible so the progress of the set can be monitored. Try to keep the riveter upright at all times to maintain true alignment of rivet; can be useful to turn the riveter as setting progresses to correct any misalignment. Be careful when squeezing the riveter on its final setting stroke, as the mandrel breaks with quite a violent crack when setting the larger diameter rivets, and if your face or head is anywhere near the rivet tool arms you can get a self-inflicted whack! To remove the waste mandrel simply turn the riveter upside-down and open the arms, it will be ejected from the back between the arms. If not happy with the set of a particular rivet, then just drill out the head of the rivet with same size drill as the rivet stem and tap the remainder out with a punch and try again!

Great Rivet Gun
Powerful rivet gun but without the need for a long space like the scissor guns and more powerful than the one handed guns.
