Napoleon Dynamite [2004]

This was such a great film. I put it on as it was free to watch on Amazon prime.I would say it really appeals to people that have the type of sense of humour that enjoy Will Ferrell films. I would describe it as a very cleaver, silly, subtle comedy. Subtle in the sense lots of the humour is hidden within the silliness of the film. I personally loved Pedros Mexican protection gang. That moment made me laugh.The film has a happy ending and a consistent story line which makes for a great film.

No, seriously. Comedies don't get enough credit. I love every moment of this film. It is so original and funny and the characters all carefully crafted. So many funny original quotes we use from this film all the time. There will never be another film like it. It's wonderful and we watch it every couple years and its genius never wanes.

I absolutely adore this film! I could watch it over and over again! It just goes to show you don't need a huge budget for a film such as this to be amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has not seen it :)

This is a review for the Prime Rental.Very unhappy as the ending of the film which plays out AFTER the credits was removed.Are Amazon Prime aware of this? Because that means the film is incomplete and I should be refunded.Sorely miffed.

Probably my favourite film of all time. Ridiculous but awesome

This film is almost beyond description.A film made on a shoestring and a complete original that attained cult status, it really should be celebrated more widely, a number of spinoffs came from this, if you have never seen it, give it a shot.

It's aight. Not bad but definitely not good.

Movie gets 5 out of 5 but do not buy this edition, the entire case is cardboard and the two discs slide into these super tight slits that are next to impossible to get out of and put back in. And when you finally manage to get it out you will most definitely scratch the disc

One of the best movies of all time. If you are reading this amazon review your in luck. I've found that in a few of the frames in the actual film, you can see a camera man. No joke. You'll probly find it on youtube, but I've felt the need to to share MY small but existing experience to all of you. The camera man is wearing white. I'll go back to the movie and find the time. Napoleon Dynamite is definitely a top 5 comedy. It's a must have film. I was a little disappointed with the packaging (of the discs, not the box by Amazon). It just kind of feels cheap for being a 10th anniversary edition. The fur on the case is a cool touch, the Blu-ray and DVD discs should have been in opposite spots, and the back (write up/features/credits) sheet felt like they almost forgot about it and then just glued it on with glue sticks or that white liquid glue kids in school would drink.Great movie, 10th anniversary case is kinda cheap, but still a 5/5 product.

Selbstverständlich hassen ihn alle Cheerleader und Footballer seiner Schule. Aber was diesen Film so einzigartig gegenüber aller anderer Teeny-Komödien mit diesem Thema macht: Am Ende hat man selbst mit den dämlichsten Cheerleadern Mitleid, weil man erkennt, dass sie als echte Idaho-Landeier im Grunde genauso derbe Außenseiter sind wie Napoleon, ohne dies jedoch jemals zu bemerken und ohne dass sie jemals seinen unbändigen Drang nach Einzigartigkeit besäßen. Setze den coolsten und beliebtesten Charakter aus "Napoleon Dynamite" an die Ostküste und er verliert. Setze Napoleon dorthin und er wird Präsident. Ist Amerika nicht großartig?

This movie was popular when I was in middle school and will always have a place in my heart. Love the case for this anniversary edition!

This film is about this guys life and what it’s like being him. It’s very simple but very strange and bizarre. I love this film I give it a 9 outta 10

One of my favorite movies and now the rest of the family can enjoy this. We leave this in the RV for the rainy nights camping!

The only bad part is that the black stripes on the DVD case are fuzzy and these fuzzies are all over the DVD and in the case and got all over my counter. They shed LOL

Bought it for my sister as a christmas gift and she loved it. Delivery person didnt leave the paper when he tried to deliver it so i had to try and track down where it was online instead.

Muy buena película, me parece que es el mejor papel que ha hecho Jon Heder, luego le sigue Blades of Glory. Esta cinta es para coleccionarse, definitivamente.

Beim ersten Mal - No go!(Alle behaupten der Film sei unglaubliche witzig - warum sehe ich das anders???)Zweites Mal gucken - Joa ist eigentlich schon irgendwie witzig...(Ich glaube auch, dass der Film eigentlich gar nicht zwingend witzig sein soll)Drittes Mal gucken - Der Film ist echt klasse!

Der Film ist grandios - wird aber mit Sicherheit 2/3 aller Leute nicht gefallen (gerade das macht diesen Film so sympathisch).Man muss einfach diese Art Trash-Humor lieben und Charaktere wie Napoleon, Kip und Onkel Rico verstehen. Für mich einer der besten Filme der letzten 10 Jahre!!!

Der Film an sich taugt nichts. Der Charakter und seine Umwelt jedoch sind faszinierend. Nerdiger geht es nicht und man möhte oft einfach das einzig Richtige tun, was auch für pubertierende Jugendliche gilt - sie umarmen weil sie einem einfach nur Leid tun... Mir hat der Film gefallen, Nerds halten eben zusammen!
