For the price, it’s not worth it. I wish I hadn’t purchased this. After a couple months I had to take it off because it was actually hurting my back in the morning.

My mattress is so bad the springs are literally cutting through the padding. I ordered a 2-inch memory foam topper some time ago and it did very little to help. Thinking this might be a long shot was about right. I can say it has done more than expected. I ended up adding the memory foam topper to the latex one and then putting the padded cover over them both. Huge difference. Obviously, I need to bite the bullet and buy a mattress now.There was a little off-gassing but I opened the package and let it lay there a few hours before I covered it so by the time I went to bed there was no odor.4 out of 5 stars, mainly because it did more than expected, but there is no way this is high in quantity natural latex. Still, I would recommend it to anyone looking to revive their not-so-old mattress.One-year update...After about 4 months I had to get rid of the cotton topper. I kept the latex foam, but the topper developed places in it like bumps that dry cleaning could not get rid of. Sleeping on it, I would wake up feeling like I had been beaten in the sides all night while I tossed and turned. I could feel the knots as I ran my hand over the cover. Even tried the tennis ball trick. The cover is on a shelf, and the foam still on the bed with the 2-inch memory foam over it.

The pillow top is comfortable, I like the top . The bottom LATEX SMELLS SO BAD that it GAVE ME AN INSTANT 3 DAY HEADACHE when I removed the latex from the bag. I then put this latex foam out side in the wind and the sun for 1 week , then put it on my bed- for about 30 minutes, then my whole room smelled like PAINT THINNER and it was making me SICK. I Put it back out in the wind and sun for 2 more days, told visiting friend, he took a big whiff of the mattress and he said"I think this chemical smell just stopped my heart for a beat or 2"." DO NOT BUY THIS LATEX MATTRESS. The pillow top I like and has no smell. Buy From sleep essentials instead- no smell white color, this one is a bluish color. I Kept the pillow top and THREW THE MATTRESS AWAY. Did not even want to donate to second hand store, because I couldn't do what I went through to any one. RIP OFF!!!

This product doesn't wear well. Several tears have developed, planning to return this item.

Although soft and springy it smelled terrible and right out of the box had breakage and with just a light pull or rub breaks down quick. Better off buying a nice memory foam and imitation down seperate because this wasnt worth the price of $179 for a twin to have it do this. I bought this for my sister who is a quad and its a shame its like this. We have to turn her every 2 hours and this will break down too quick so havent used it. I bought one for myself right from the website, not from amazon and it was fine. Makes me wonder if this place stole the companys name or the company is putting there misfits on amazon. Sad:(

This topper was not worth the money. I wanted to find a "natural" alternative to memory foam, but I needed something that was soft enough to alleviate my hip and back pain. I have slept on this topper for 4 months, and I had to replace the topper today due to numbness in my arms and hands while sleeping. I am a side sleeper, and my lower back back pain has been increasing over the past several months since sleeping on this. The latex is NOT anything like memory foam- it feels like a wet sponge, and doesn't have the softness of memory foam. If you enjoy a firm surface to sleep on, then this might work for you. The mattress cover it comes with is decent, and covers my 14 inch mattress plus topper without issue. I wish I could return this, as it was pretty expensive.

This wasn’t 3 inches thick. I think if it were that might have helped with hip painIt might be 2 inches with the foam pad and topper combined. Disappointed.
