mmm like pina colada mix! also reviews of all the syntrax nectar flavors.
Caribbean Cooler is awesome. I love the taste. I put 4 ounces of frozen pineapple juice, and a little water and some ice in the blender along with my calcium powder and its like drinking a virgin pina colada. Makes getting my daily protein requirement in very nice.I ordered a sample pack directly from Syntrax and decided to review all the flavors here.Strawberry Mousse :I really liked this a lot. Mixed with 1% milk in a blender. Would probably be good with almond milk also. Nice Strawberry aroma when opening the package. The flavor reminded me of a strawberry shortcake ice cream bar. Pleasant and no weird aftertaste. Much better than Premier Protein strawberry flavor which I find pretty nasty. I will be adding this to my pantry.4.5 out of 5 stars.I think this would be good with fresh frozen strawberries added in a blender. Crystal sky: I loved the packaging. Blue with pictures of fruit all over it. Pineapples, watermelon, kiwi, grapes, strawberries. I had high hopes. Opened the package and the smell of Juicy Fruit gum hit my nostrils. (Do they even make Juicy Fruit Gum anymore?)Gag. But I soldiered on. Mixed with chopped ice and cold water. I'm sure that helped. Looked like a blue slushy but no it did not taste like one. I managed to consume it like a good RNY patient trying to be comply with her protein requirements.Unless you like Juicy Fruit gum I cannot recommend this flavor in any way shape or form. Ick. Hold your nose and swallow.1 star out of 5Lattes Cappucino:This one I had heard so many good things about and it did not disappoint. Smelled like coffee ice cream upon opening the envelope.Mixed it with cold 1% milk. Very very good! This flavor is outstanding. Someone here previously stated that they drank this hot and yes I think that would be excellent. I also was thinking if you chopped up frozen milk cubes in the blender and then mixed a small bit of cold milk and the powder it would be a coffee frappe!Definitely will order this!4.75 stars out of 5!Roadside Lemonade: didn't smell that lemony when I opened the envelope. (I drink a lot of sugar free Wylers lemonade so I was looking for that sort of flavor maybe?)Mixed with cold water.Eh. Not good but not undrinkable either. You have to wonder why they didn't add more ascorbic acid to the recipe for a proper lemony tang.....Not impressed enough to order.3 stars out of 5Chocolate truffle:Smelled like brownie mix when I opened the package. Mixed with cold 1% milk. Eh. Frankly not chocolately enough. Premier Protein chocolate is better. Not bad, just lackluster.3.5 out of 5 stars.Vanilla Bean:It was very good. When i opened it, reminded me of the smell of vanilla pudding. I mixed this with 1% milk. Nice flavor and has the possibilities of adding other flavors (almond extract) or using a blender with frozen fruitThis one would also be good with almond milk I think. I don't know about mixing straight with water.Overall very palatable and I will probably buy a container since it has a lot of other flavor options for creative cooks like myself.4.75 stars out of 5Cherry:Smelled like a cherry lollypop upon opening the package. Mixed with chopped ice and water in my blender. The actual flavor kind of reminded me of a Luden's cough drop when drinking it. I don't think I could drink this every day.2.5 stars out of 5. I won't be adding this flavor to my pantry.Fuzzy Navel:I have never actually had a Fuzzy Navel cocktail. I suspect this flavor does not come close, BUT I enjoyed it very much. Although I gather its supposed to be peach and orange flavor, I thought it reminded me much more of a mango.I mixed it with cold water. I suspect it would be very good with frozen banana, strawberries, or mango.I would definitely order this one.4.5 stars out of 5 Cookies and Cream: mixed it with 1%milkI found it very palatable. It was actually pretty good.I think it would be good with almond milk too. Don't know about mixing it with water.Definitely would order this flavor4.5 out of 5 starsGreen Apple- mixed it with plain cold water. It seems to be going for a jolly rancher kind of flavor. But the whey protein is distracting. I don't think I could drink this often.2.5 stars out of 5Wild Grape - mixed it with plain cold water. I was a little afraid of this one. Generally I do not like grape flavored products. This one smells like Fanta Grape Soda which I actually do like. And its not bad. But its not really good either. I kept wishing for fizzy bubbles and that whey protein thing kept sneaking through. I don't think I'll be ordering this flavor.3 stars out of 5

Excellent for a Whey Protein Shake
I've bought the Lemon Tea version of this drink about 4 times now.I love it because it mixes easily with a spoon (stir for about a minute). The taste is good for a protein drink... by that I mean.... it doesn't taste great (the dominant flavor is definitely a "protein" taste), but I can drink it regularly about 4x a week without getting sick of it. Protein shakes really aren't the best unless you put a lot of extra stuff in them... like milk, yogurt, fruit, cocoa powder etc. But this drink is fine with just water which is great for getting a low calorie and high protein drink.I don't really taste the lemon.... more just protein, tea and sucralose (artifical sweetener). One scoop is 100 calories and 24 grams of protein.Zero fat. Zero carbs. Zero sugar.Ingredients for Lemon Tea: whey protein isolate (milk), black tea leaf extract, citric acid, natural and artificial flavors, soy lecithin, acesulfame-k, sucralose.I did try Syntrax Twisted Cherry and while the taste was okay, I got sick of it pretty quickly.I drink tea all the time, so drinking a tea protein drink was a natural fit. One reviewer said the brown mud like color made him not want to drink the shake.... the brown color didn't bother me at all.I'm switching to a vegan protein drink (custom blend of rice and pea protein) because I want to be more cruelty-free. However, I do recommend this product for those who drink whey protein.

Review by a strength athlete
As I was looking at the reviews for this product, there were many reviews for post bariatric surgery patients and others, but very few for athletes. Bariatric surgery patients and others may be using dosing at 1 Tbs or one scoop at a time where strength athletes are using much more than that. I feel this makes a review more applicable to a demographic who may be interested in this product but have not seen many pertinent reviews on amazon. I've tried the fuzzy navel, roadside lemonade, lemon tea, and kiwi strawberry so I'll review each individually. The fuzzy navel was very good and a welcome change from the muscle milk that I have been using. I'm not a huge fan of peach flavored stuff, but this flavor was very good. It tastes exactly like the drink, to me, and mixes decently well. The roadside lemonade tastes decent but definitely has a "creamy whey," flavor to it which I can really taste. The mixability was again only decent. I use a shaker cup for all of my protein drinks and the lemonade was definitely below average for mixing. I routinely got massive clumps in the drink that I'd have to break open with a spoon then shake it again. The lemon tea was very good and mixed very well. I could definitely use this flavor routinely. It mixed with no clumps and tasted very much like real iced tea. I mixed some of the roadside lemonade in with the lemon tea (2 scoops lemon tea to 1 scoop of roadside lemonade in approx 16 oz of water) and it was probably my favorite protein drink. The kiwi strawberry tastes like slightly watered down kiwi strawberry flavor (imagine that). It isn't overpowering by any means and isn't that sweet, but if you are expecting it to taste like a snapple then you'll be disappointed. It does mix very well and I would buy it again.

Very good taste, but...
Very good, but doesn't mix well. I've mixed with water or milk. The powder tends to clump up during the mixing process. I've stirred, shook, and used blenders. The powder does seem to dissolve some after mixing, then letting the mixture sit for ~15-20 minutes. Will continue to buy this product.

Sabor espetacular!
