Great mystery collection.
I was looking for some new mystery movies to watch when I came across the Garage Sale Mysteries. I have enjoyed watching the movie series.

More Interesting and Well- Written Mysteries!
Series/ collection two has some more cast changes that has been going on ( I only noticed the son and husband changes, but the detective and the daughter are different actors, too... just go with it) - but the stories are very well written. There are exciting situations (usually when Jennifer gets too close to finding the killer... and usually she is alone- will she EVER learn to take someone along with her?!) but are more like a 'PG' rating than anything too intense. Three stories on this disk - yet they seem to be much longer and holds our attention right to the end. I loved the 'novel' story - and trying to remember what famous murder-mystery books these murders were copied from. (Great writing!)I hope this great series would've stayed around much longer, but we are collecting what Garage Sale Mysteries DVDs are available. The 'Guilty Until Proven Innocent' story is very timely - reflecting in real life that one is not considered innocent until proven guilty... hmmm.There are some 'Hallmark-ville' scenes... you know, right off of fantasy island... like getting a whole store's inventory without adding on to 'Rags', or having another whole store to run... or the gift that Jennifer gets for hubby's big birthday... but all in all - another great set of mysteries. Recommended hands-down.

The s-i-x, available, offerings of the "Garage Sale Mystery" movies (12 movies [on 12, separate, discs]) are VERY entertaining. I advise anyone worried about the compatibility of these Australian [Area-code 4] discs NOT to worry. They SAY "4", but are actually playable on an American A/1 disc-player. That is all I have to say other than only the last two titles only have ONE disc. The first 4 collections have 3, or, 4 discs, each.Highly recommended by THIS mystery-fan, and Amazon-buyer/reviewer.

Good Mysteries, Fun Characters
The mysteries are fairly mystifying and original, but the characters are the main draw for me. I love watching the family dynamics: a loving complete family is so rare on TV and in movies today. I also love to follow also Dani's dating woes as well as her comic interactions with her best friend and shop owner, Jennifer (Lori Laughlin). It is a series that is appropriate for older kids and adults. No gratuitous violence or off-color language.

I really enjoyed watching these three films, and I will very likely watch them again. This is such a good show. It is very disappointing that it is cancelled. I guess that's because Lori Laughlin got in trouble, but why are they punishing the other actors? I don't know if I would like the program as well with another actress, but I do think they should try a replacement. I would try it, if that was done.
