Inexpensive watch with great features
You can always see the current time in any setting that you scroll through. 👍It has a great display size, and just a glint of sunlight will illuminate the face in the daytime, and a nice looking backlight with sufficient time illuminates the time in the dark. I haven't found a use for the rotating bezel, but I don't feel strongly about it, one way or the other. This watch uses a CR2025 battery. I have no idea why that was impossible to find online, but I changed mine out, and it was easily done with simple watch kit tools.

What’s not to like ?
I am a fan of Casio and own many of their watches. I bought the Casio ae1500, great big display that’s easy to read for old eyes. But the backlight isn’t that strong. I figured I would try this watch. The negative display is hard to read if not angled in the right light, but at night the EL lighted display is great. Although the display is not as big as the Casio, it’s still easy to read. I got this Amazon renewed for $10, looks like it wasn’t even used and still had display sticker on on it. One thing I will say about it is the watch band is way better than what Casio ae1500 gives at the same price point as Armitron gives you a real high quality metal buckle where Casio gives you a plastic one.Even at full price this Armitron is well worth the money. Oh ya it has a plastic 120 click bezel which is fun to play with. If they had this black version in a positive display that would have been even better.

Excellent value watch. The only drawback is the display visibility is poor in direct sunlight
For the cost of watches like this, I can't understand why anyone would buy the no name watches, just below this price point. For under $25 and in most cases, under $20, you're getting a watch with:Dual TimeTimerStop WatchAlarmCalendarChronographCountdownMilitary Time CapabilityLuminescent DisplayWater ResistanceThat's pretty much all you really need for nearly any regular task or use. If you need much more, you wouldn't even be looking at a watch like this.Overall, this watch functions very well. Everything works as it should. Yes, the other reviewers are correct, the display is hard to read in direct light. Also, the strap is a little rigid initially. Outside of those two things, this is really a nice watch for this type of money. In sum, I feel very comfortable recommending this watch. However, again, please know the display is hard to read in direct sunlight and factor that into your decision!Cheers!

Good watch, great price!
This has been for me a good watch for the money. It has all the basic functions, and more for a watch. I purchased this for my dress code. (A black watch) The count down function, and timing I use the most. I like that it stays in military time with date at the bottom. If you like slightly bigger face watches, you will really enjoy this one.I will be diving with this watch and will update on the water resists! There are videos on YouTube going through all the functions of this Armitron.Cannot go wrong with purchasing this item, I highly recommend!Update 12/2014. This watch made it through basic training. There is wear on the white labeling on the watch, and at times the bottoms would be pressed during some movements. Other than those two minor things the watch is still holding up well. A little beat up, but I still wear it. I received several complements on this watch and would reply with what I paid around twenty bucks. This got people excited. Maybe it looks like some high end watch? I will purchase this brand again. I have my eye on this one"Armitron Sport Men's 40/8330BLK Brown Accented Digital Chronograph Black Nylon Strap Watch" similar to this one. Different band and color. Hope this helps.

Wore this watch for years and loved it!
I had this watch for 6 years and it stood up to anything I threw at it. I bought it since I was doing fieldwork and often would need to get into water to take samples. The watch never had a single issue getting wet and performed consistently well for the whole time I had it. Eventually the face got a big scuffed and the compass letters began to wear, but the watch kept perfect time and never missed a beat. Eventually I moved it on since it was still working perfectly, but I was ready for a different style and something a bit smaller. I would highly recommend this watch!

Plastic low quality kids toy watch at best. I doubt it would last a month
This thing is absolutely the cheapest looking plastic kid toy thing I seen the chinese trying to pass off as a watch. The LCD type numbers are far darker than pictured and almost impossible to read in daylight. The silkscreened "Stop Mode" etc printed on the front face are ghostly grey due to the terrible printing job on the plastic. They lettering looks distorted and fuzzy because of the half *%* job that was done in printing it. The band is cheapo plastic that is brittle and stiff and just waiting to break. The overall look and feel to the watch was of a something you win in a gum ball machine for .25 cents not 25 dollars. I did not expect a rolex for 25 dollars but I expected a decent working watch that is not a complete joke. I sent it back the day it arrived. What is it with the Red state thinking the can produce this garbage and pass it as a working useable product? Its a waste of materials and resources making it and shipping it. Its junk! I might stick it on a fishing tackle box for a extra clock or in the shed but to wear it? never its a joke at best. China needs to take at least 1 ounce of pride in their work but oh I forget all they care about is wasting planet resources all to make a nickel x1000 for shipping fees. They are wasting the planets resources by all this waste of junk products.
