Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for LG G4 Case (2015) - Black

I wish the kickstand was a little sturdier (I thought it was made of metal based on the pictures) but it's really not nearly as bad as some of the reviews say. I don't see it breaking on me like I use it. Overall, it's a great case. I haven't dropped my phone in it yet, but it grips well in the hand and feel confident it would offer decent protection in the event of a drop. The case looks nice and is easy to keep looking nice. It fits well and stays on but comes off relatively easy too, which is nice for me since I swap batteries often enough. Even after having taken it out of the case many times, it doesn't feel any looser on the phone either. When first got it, the kickstand wouldn't stay popped into the case and would catch on things but after pressing it back in constantly for a day or two, it stays pushed in all the time just fine. I never before had a case with a kickstand before but I really enjoy having one and use it all the time.

This case is GORGEOUS on the G4! Yeah the kickstand is cheap but it works, so just be careful and it will be fine, problem solved. This is the only case I have found so far that has convinced me to change my leather back because I like it so much. Leather back does not fit properly so don't waste your time. Fits perfectly and does not add any major noticeable bulk and is very easily removable to swap out batteries. Definitely recommend.

After reading numerous customer reviews this Spigen LG G4 phone case seemed like the perfect balance of all the things I wanted for my new baby. There's one thing you have to remember, not every case is going to satisfy every customer's needs, desires or expectations. That said, this case, while it didn't look exactly as I expected, it is an elegant way to protect your G4. I have the standard phone back, not the leather backed version. The fit is snug and perfect and covers the vulnerable edges of my G4 perfectly It is effortless to get on the phone and taking it off is easy but you you have to be deliberate--it's not going to accidentally pop off. You WILL have to be careful removing the case as it will try to pop the back off your phone which is probably not the best thing considering your battery may tumble out unexpectedly. I don't have a problem with that. Several reviewers seem to have an issue with the kickstand on the back of the case which you can use to horizontally prop up your phone to watch videos or listen to music. Yeah, the stand is not the most rugged thing you'll ever experience--the images make it look more metallic and sturdier than it is. It certainly is not attached with any kind of impressive hardware, but you're smart--you'll figure that out in about 15 seconds after opening the package. You'll also realize that you'll have to be reasonably careful when you use it--but, hey, this is not supposed to be a tripod! Don't yank it open; don't try to lean on it. Don't try to use it to turn your phone into a bookend. I have not had any problems with the stand--it folds up flat and stays tucked up in its little niche very well when not in use. I didn't buy the case for the kickstand--it was just a nice added feature. If it didn't have it I wouldn't care. I really like the look and feel of the case a lot. The matte black finish has got just the right amount of a slightly rubberized texture to keep your phone from slipping out of your hand. While it makes the super thin G4 kind of thick (relative to what it's like naked) it not too bad. I honestly feel the design gives you the slimmest profile you can get and still protect your phone from bumps and drops. The cut out for the back mounted buttons, camera lens, laser distance sensor and light are nicely designed. The G4 can be a little tricky to use because everything is so smoothly laid out on the back. I find I can't instantly put my finger on the spot on the power or volume control that I want when the phone is undressed. The slightly raised and beveled cutout makes it super easy for my finger to land exactly where I want it to mange those controls. Overall, a really nice case for well under $15. Very happy with this purchase.

Great case, I've had it for almost a year now and its still going strong and looks as good as it did when I bought it. It looks a lot better in person. Its made of a flexible ruber like material, and has protected my phone from plenty of drops. The kickstand isn't the sturdiest thing in the world but it does the job while being light and not bulky. No complaints best case i have purchased.

I have been using this case for 7 days now and the kickstand has already fallen off. This case is great and with not many options out there for the LG G4 had all the features I wanted. The case adds minimal bulk, has great grip, will protect well if dropped and has a raised lip to protect the screen. With a bigger phone I wanted a kickstand and it worked well until it fell off. It never seemed to be very secure when it was closed as there is no mechanism to keep it in place when not in use. That is this case's only downfall.

Case is very nice quality and fits the phone perfectly (I have a plastic backed phone). The phone stand is a nice additional feature that I've come to use several times while watching Netflix. The stand seemed like it would break off easily from the pictures, but it has held on quite well. The carbon fiber backing also gives a nice added visual appeal to the phone.

Update, with the rubber popping over the edge if the phone, I dropped it and the screen shattered. I had a screen protector but still my screen is gone. You might want to look for a different case that is more secure Original review Very nice affordable case. While the features are not all perfect. I was more than happy with the price. It's kickstand while flimsy, will hold the device, though not as securly, as some may prefer, was adequate for light touches and media watching. The rubber did pop over the edges quite a bit, but otherwise it was a very secure fit. The opening for the charging port is large enough to fit most charging plugs including the amazonbasics micro-usb plug. The case is not removable when there is a cable plugged in though unlike other cases which is a very slight annoyance, but all in all its a fantastic case and great for the price

The good is that it looks nice and more importantly fits the G4 well. It protects all around the front face with about a 1mm standoff height. On the back, it fits well around the camera and volume/power buttons and actually makes finding them easier. Now the bad and probably the reason one chooses this particular model; the kickstand is absolute junk. It looks like metal, but it is plastic. The worse part isn't that it is just plastic but thin flimsy plastic. It barely holds the phone in landscape mode, but don't expect to interact with the screen as it just isn't stable. As for portrait mode ...ha, no way does it support the phone and in fact will probably break if tried enough times. I also didn't find the material to be very grip friendly either; they should have patterned it. If you don't care about the kickstand, then the case is just okay and maybe one buys it, but I suspect most want it for the kickstand and it is absolute trash.
