Just what I needed!
We grind pills for our dogs and mix them in their noms. We had a grinder just like this one and it has lasted for years with daily use but finally gave it up. After reading the feedback, I was hesitant to buy it again and ended up with three other duds. When we got this one, it is a tiny bit different...the teeth don't meet together completely....but it still grinds exactly as before. There are a few tiny chunks but most of the pills are powdered. Also, we like that it doesn't need to be turned several times to screw it on & off. If you want 100% powder, then get an electric grinder. This one does the job just fine for us...and it can handle large pills. The grinders with the smooth mechanism can't handle large pills at all.

Great product!
I bought this to crush medication for my dog. She will not take pills, so we crush the pills and put them in wet dog food. It works fantastic. Easy to use, doesn't take a lot of hand strength. I have seen mention of it leaving chunks, but I find if you slightly unscrew and then retighten it a couple of times that gets rid of the chunks and you do get a fine powder. Very pleased with this product, especially for the price!

Crush your pills effortlessly
Easy to crush pills. Make sure it's completely dry before using it other wise your pills will get stuck on the grids.

Does not crush pills
You can’t crush your pills. It only cracks them. I hate this product. I was so happy when I saw it because I have purchased a product that looks the same, but does actually crush pills. I feel like the pulled a hateful prank on me.

Leaves small chunks
Most time I can get my mom to take her pills with the chunks still there but sometimes she thinks they are a foreign object in her mouth and I will find them spit in the floor. But they're not large chunks. I supposed this product is adequate for most people. It's just a little shy of perfect for someone with dementia. That's why the four stars.
