Excellent lid for the 6 Qt container - if suggested to buy this lid by Amazon double-check to see if it will fit your container
This lid works as advertised, and fits nicely on the Rubbermaid 6 Qt FG630600CLR. It may be suggested by Amazon to pair with the 12 Qt, which is the main reason for all of the lower ratings because it will not fit that one (the lid that fits the 12Qt is the FG652300WHT lid, it's cheaper too)Just be sure that it is for the right container by checking which product codes it fits on (as listed in product description) or else you'll have no one to blame yourself... but you'll still come back here and give it a 1 star because you can't admit to your own carelessness.

Solid construction, BPA-free plastic. Fits Carb-X container (mine is 8 quart, FG631800CLR) perfectly. Seal is water and air-tight. Highly recommended for food storage or sous vide (though I would suggest using 12 quart containers for taller sous vide machines like the Anova).

very universal.
I use this with my feet, (Lay a towel inside the tray and sprinkle foot powder on each foot) tray captures any extra powder. I apply powder each day and just slide it under the bed. A very sturdy product, works well. It would be very universal product, can see this having many different uses.

Perfect fit.
Perfect fit for my 8 qt and 10 quart Rubbermaid Commercial storage containers. Need to modify for my Sous Vide but seems easy enough to cut with the right tool. Note, it's not leakproof. I discovered that when curing some brisket to make corned beef.
