This is by far the best Berberine supplement that I have found!! Great packaging, consistent product and amazing results!

I have no doubt that this is a great source of Berberine, but it caused in me persistant rectal bleeding, to the point where I got an unnecessary colonoscopy. When I stopped taking it, the issue cleared up. So if you get that, I would discontinue. So I'm sorry to give this product a low rating when it is certainly exactly what it claims to be, but there are very few places to get useful information on supplements.

i've been taking this now for 3 months after my lab markers indicated i had a high level of inflammation in my body and i was at risk for a cardiovascular incident. my ND put me on this to see if it would help. Also my blood sugar levels were a little elevated. after three months on this (3 times a day) i am happy to report that the inflammation in my body has gone from a HIGH to a normal (low) level. the sugar levels are completely within the normal range as well. i should add that during this time i continued to avoid what we felt were elevating my inflammation numbers (sugar and peanut butter).

I've taken these capsules before and they have helped me lose a few lbs. They have also helped me to stay regular so I ordered another bottle. Unfortunately, a pill wasn't properly prepared/somehow broke open and its contents spilled and got all over the other pills and bottle. This Berberine has a very bitter taste (which I'm honestly not sure is normal in powder form) and so now I have to rinse each one before I can take it. This is the only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars.

I'm sure for most people this works great. I have UC, and even though I did a gradual increase to address parasites, it became too much too fast for me, even though I followed my doctor's instructions. If I ever do try it again, as parasites are a constant problem for UC people, I'll be using a much smaller dose than what was prescribed before. I was also very nauseated with this, but that too was most likely due to UC. The nausea was the first thing to show up, so maybe that can be your signal to reduce the dose, and then slowly build up again to what your doctor recommends.

I take thiamin conjunction with Sucontrol D and my A1C was 5.7 the other day. I think thisjj be is what’s helping because I haven’t been eating the best lately
