Four Seasons Accumulator

Worked great It is a bit smaller diameter than the factory accumulator so the original band to hold it to a 90' f-350 does not clamp it just right but the body is on center so it can be spaced out with a piece of rubber between the old band and the new accumulator.- Replace the orfice if you are replacing the accumulator, it is cheap and easy, if you get a variable orfice it will work better with an r134a conversion - Add 2oz of oil if just replacing the accumulator if retrofitting to r134a use ester oil which is cross compatible.- Make sure you have a oring assortment on hand , you usually end up taking more apart than you planned.

My only concern was that I think they're supposed to be some vacuum on it because they're not supposed to be exposed to the atmosphere for more than an hour the cops were kind of loose but still seems to work perfectly

Fits like oem. If you're doing any work to the ac system I highly recommend you replace this and your orifice tube. They're cheap and relatively easy to do. Whether you're opening the system to replace something, fixing a leak, converting to r134, or recharging, just replace this. Fits perfect in my 1992 f150.

I put this on my 1985 F-350 diesel factory-A/CLike the last two of these accumulators I have put on Fords, the long goose-neck tube is not hardly shaped exactly like the original equipment one, thus the two threaded line fittings are a fight to get the threads started true.Mine came with a little bag with all the necessary green O-rings, taped to the housing.One alteration I always do to these, on the advice of the local automotive-A/C expert, is to remove and dis-card the Schraeder valve-core that is in the accumulator fitting.There is already a Schraeder valve-core in the line-coupling that screws onto that fitting and his reasoning is that leaving the one core behind the other often creates a leak.All I know is that I have never had any negative issues from dis-carding said core; do so at your own peril.

Works great but you may need to remove the needle valve from inside the top end port. Comes as original (pre- 134A) with an R-12 style fitment. Not a big deal. Nice that it came with new O-Rings.

Quality built part that fit my 1992 f250 exactly. Works as it should and was a breeze to install. Recommend this for sure.
