not very compatible ?
I wanted to love this supply! I have a NanoSound1 DAC board and Argon case and it's amazingly well built and designed so when I needed another Raspberry 4 supply I bought this one. When I tired it with a bare 4 gig Raspberry 4 board the OS wouldn't boot. When I used the official Raspberry 4 supply everything works fine. I've tried both many times and it's consistent, the Os never fails to boot with the official supply and ever boots with the Argon. The supply does however work with my 8 gig Raspberry 4 board in the Argon case. I think the problem is that the voltage from the supply too high (around 5.5 volts), it maybe have been even higher on the other board. Scope shots comparing this supply with the official supply are attached.I'm going to have Amazon replace this one, maybe it's just bad.I do like the form factor, it doesn't block the adjacent outlet like the official supply does. That's one of the reasons I bought it.

Works great for Pi4, and overclocked
This power supply supplies a little more voltage (5.25V) and amperage (3.5A) than recommended for the Pi. It's not by enough to cause any issue, and supports mine running RetroPi at 2GHz, so the power supply works well.It would be nice if it had a modular USB connector, but it does technically violate the USB specification so that may not be the best idea.

Great with PI - BUT FAILS to work with OTHER devices
TLDR: if you have a PI Get This It Works Great, but if you want to use it to power something else it possibly won't work.I was expecting a charger that would work with any Type C device, but it didn't work with my camera which surprised me.I have not studied the specs for the Type C interface (I'm a retired electronics designer) but my understanding is that it has a SMART protocol to negotiate different voltages and charging rates.I also have read that the Raspberry PI had a bug (hardware design error) that prevented it from working with SMART chargers. The PI was updated with a fix for this problem. I don't know if I have the old PI or the Fixed PI.What I can tell you is that this charger WORKS PERFECTLY with a Raspberry PI, my low power warning finally went away. But it was disappointing when my camera ignored this charger and refused to be powered by it, so I subtracted 1 star.

Meets and exceeds the requirements for PI4 with touch screens
Various PI supplies from other manufacturers I've used exhibit detectable brown-outs (multiple lightning symbols on screen) when used with Official Raspberry 7" touchscreens. They can supply the rated amps but the voltage at the PI droops below 4.75 volts and causes errors/reboots.This supply not only doesn't droop with the 7" but it also can power a 13" HDMI touchscreen and a PI4 at the same time without problems.Note that PI3 and PI4 power connectors are different. But you can use either variant of Argon supply by cutting off the stock USB connector and just connecting the red and black wires to pins 4 (+5) and 6 (Gnd) respectively on the GPIO header. We are now using these supplies exclusively for our PI based prototypes.

highest watt for your Pi 4 or 400
If you are running a M.2 SATA drive with your Pi 4 or Pi 400, and a 5-volt fan, then I recommend this power supply for your Pi 4. It's the Pi 4 power supply with the highest wattage. Another higher power power supply is from Canakit.

Works well with a RPI4 and Argon FAN and a RPI touchscreen
Works well with a RPI4 and Argon FAN and a RPI touchscreen.I need a little more power than many of the popular USB-C 3 Amp power supplies. Most RPI USB-C 3 Amp power supplies are rated at 15W and will show a voltage drop (under 5V) when approaching 3A, causing you get a lighting bolt and an under-voltage message.

Can power a Raspberry Pi 4B with 8GB RAM
I have two RPi4B's with 8GB of RAM that boot reliably only with these power supplies. Even the official Raspberry Pi 5V 3A supplies don't do that, although they are fine for my units with 4GB of RAM. I don't overclock, but my 8GB versions have been running continuously from an SSD and a HD (I find SD cards don't hold up), both powered by their USB ports, since I got these power supplies. No muss, no fuss; they just do the job.

Awesome!
One of thee best raspberry pi 4 power bricks if you ask me! It's made very well. Doesn't feel cheap either. Now I don't have to worry about the little bolt that comes on on the pi warning you of insufficient power. This baby here supplies all the juice you need, even with an overclock! Thank you

A UK Plug and no adapter?
Why was I sent a UK plug and no adapter? I am in Germany, this is useless to me...come on....

Warning - sent with UK plug!
The adapter was sent with a UK Plug. That hasn't been stated anywhere in the product description or the pictures.

Perfect mate for 5V SBCs
Argon should really bundle this with their case, to avoid tracking it down separately. I use with my Raspberry Pi 4 (in an Argon ONE RPi4 case) and with a Corel Dev Board.

Buzzing sound, broke after minimal use
Do not buy these overpriced products from argon. Their customer service will ignore you and even though product should be under warranty!
