OX Pro Fixed Blade Folding Knife

A nice compact knife which I use for my craft work. The only issue was with Amazon's age verification system, which looks like an ongoing issue. I sent a call back request and they phoned about 5 mins later. A very nice staff member went thru things,to see if it was Amazon or Experion whom they use to verify age, were the the problem. Luckily the problem was solved very quickly.

Impressed with the build quality. Blade retaining clip is metal which I like, where on other brands it is often plastic. No sliding retractable blade, but no accidental movement from it during use either which I like. If I need the blade away, I just fold it. Fold locks when fully open and when fully closed. Doesn’t feel bulky. Robust feeling locking mechanism on folding action that feels reliable. Good strong clip on the side if you don’t want it in your pocket and doesn’t seem to poke out too far when it’s in your pocket. Stick a couple of blades in the handle as spares. Second ox tool I’ve bought. I’ll probably buy again. Good products. Gets the job done so you can move forward.

Good product I've used it for 3 months now, however with it being used all the time at work the button to unlock the blade section pung off and in order for me to fix this I needed to undo the very small screws with a very small allen key and in the end I ended up just using a Dremel to put a slot in the screw heads and used a flathead screwdriver to take it apart.

Okay so I've not used the knife yet because it's for work but the button to open it is nice. The blade instert and release is nice. Blade seems secure with no play so far. Feels solid. Looks good. I also like the grippy part on the silver blade holding part it makes it easier to pull out. For the price it's seemingly very good so far. I even like the look of the belt clip it's not easiest to clip onto things as I'd like but maybe it will slacken a little. Only negative is that the pivot is abit tight but I'm hoping over time and usage it will loosen up a little. Also the plastic over the blade storage doesn't seem the strongest but to complain about that for the overall price would be very lame of me. It stays shut and it's minimal plastic to break. Even if it broke the knife is still worth what I paid. I'll update if it fails but I doubt it

I've never owned one of these before but now that I've used mine for 6 months, I'd never buy a 'normal design' Stanley knife again as this performs better. It's super fast to flick the blade open, it's durable and well made. It stores 2 spare blades neatly in the handle. The opening mechanism is very easy to use. The whole thing is of good construction and if used as intended, should last for years and for the price, thats certainly a bargain. Its bright colour allows you to locate it quickly when you put it down or if looking for it in your tool kit. The 'belt' clip is attached very firmly with rivots. It is one of essentials that any serious worker must have with them, virtually all day. It's small enough to fold and remain in your pocket but it performs brilliantly. I'd highly recommend this neat little item.

I bought this to replace a stanley fatmax I have lost, I have some ox items and they are very well built, this did not disspoint either, I also love the way it folds away as have a 2yr old so the added safety and compact size is great. It looks good too.

Super strong lock with no movement. One handed deployment, loads of cheap blades available. Looks freaking rad. Probably the best quality folding knife on sale. Period.
