Well made but lost the battle with UV
The Trasharoo was mounted on a Jeep Wrangler. Installation was a little cumbersome but manageable. I live in SOCAL with overcast mornings and sunny afternoons. But after three years of relatively pleasant weather, the top fold succumbed to UV exposure. The material deteriorated and was easily torn. So it cost me $20/year to use and I purchased a replacement Trasharoo because it was otherwise a durable, useful bag. UPDATE DEC 2023 The Trasharoo purchased in Aug 2021 has failed for the same reason noted above. This time it lasted almost 2 1/2 years. I wish they would use a material more resistive to UV light. I will try another one. UPDATE OCT 2024 Purchased a third Trasharoo and periodically treated it with UV protection spray. As an overlander, I use it mostly for trash and firewood. Unfortunately, after ten months a thief at Walmart stole it off the back of my Jeep with my litter picker. (Some people, but then again there's karma!) With it's short evaluation period, I was unable to determine if the UV spray would have prolonged its life. I like this product enough to try a fourth bag and will continue with the UV treatments.

Awesome and absolutely necessary!
First of all, LEAVE NO TRACE. Take your trash with you! The Trasharoo promotes keeping and helping the lands stay clean. The best part is you don't need to load your (or other peoples) stinky trash into your car anymore, keep it out side (not on your roof) I have had mine for about 2 years now and it has been through a lot! Dirt, mud, rain, snow, hail, freezing temps, and hot temps. Best bit of gear I have for camping. My wife and I toured the Sierras for 4 days, we didn't pass 1 trash can where we were to empty it, but it's big enough to hold it all. It's rated for 50lbs (I think) I know that I've had about 70lbs in it during a trash pick up event. I took a lot of metal scrap that day. Absolutely a great purchase. I am 99% happy with the Trasharoo. -1% because they do tend to fade color pretty quick. NOTE: If you store your trash on your car, it could attract animals, like bears. Store your trash and food properly in bear boxes or in a tree (if that's your thing) PRO TIP: Purchase the tan one, it fades to more tan. If you get the black or camo one, they turn purple-ish. The green one? not sure actually... Enjoy!

Great spare tire bag!
This bag is very nice and I’m glad I went with the Trasharoo brand bag. Everything about it says high quality and its the perfect size. I don’t know how it will hold up but I’m betting pretty well, totally worth the price in my opinion.

Lasted 3 years
This thing is a beast. It has held filled trash bags, loose recyclables, used Go toilet bags, wet/muddy tarps, and kindling. In the upper section, we kept grocery plastic bags and kitchen-size trash bags that we use for trash receptacles around camp. On the outside mesh pockets we stored a fetch ball for the dogs, extra dog poop bags, and loose trash we needed to stow when we didn’t have an active trash bag available. It finally gave out after 3 years with a rip along a seam at the top. I’d have been happier if it lasted longer, but I can’t complain that it didn’t do every job I asked of it. It wasn’t as water proof as I’d have liked. Newspaper for starting campfires would get wet from rain.

durable product
Had this product for a couple of months and used it a handful of times and I can say it's a very sturdy and durable product. It is great for camping and overloading because it gives a little more room to store thing that you might pick up on the way to the camp like bundles of wood or some extra snacks. It is super easy to setup on the spare tire of the truck. just line it up and throw the straps around and you're done.

Very nicely made
Trasharoo brand trash packs are very well made and you will find most people out on the trails with one. The canvas is thick and sturdy and the stitching strong. Some people complain about sun bleaching over time but I have not found that to be an issue as the product performs fine year after year even if the sun bleaches the color over time. I recommend buying a Trasharoo brand trash pack over any other brand out there.

Great external tote for trash & more
Perfect for packing firewood. Lined it with a plastic trash bin to give it more structure & make emptying easier. Love it when no dumpster is nearby. Keeping trash outside the van is ALWAYS a good idea.

A must have for camping and overlanding
Works great on oversized tires. A must have for camping and overlanding. Not only for trash, but other pockets for other gear as well.
