Very happy with purchase. Took a bit to settle in as well as build to begin with. Bought as a gift for someone that isn't a 'brown' fan. Their porch furniture set is resin wicker with medium soft warm brown tones and 'bronze' framing parts. The key purpose for the purchase was to offer a small footprint storage piece, that also can be used as a coffee table and occasional 'light' seating (since this piece is not specifically designed as bench seating'. We added a DIY seat cushion tying it in with other furniture pieces. It took a bit to get used to, it isn't quite the same caliber as other higher grade resin wicker pieces on the porch. Yet, it ends up a winner. Storage was immediately found to be a valuable addition, now this item stores a few throw pillows & other garden tools/porch odds & ends in two added tupperware-like bins placed inside. Everything stays very dry. Easy to get in & out, even with the cushion atop. It was a bit of a bugger to build, even with my lengthy experience in such things. Screw holes are not punched through/open already and at a slant. Gettling all sides completely 'snapped in' top to bottom took a couple tries. But, patience, a glass of wine during construction, and knowing in the end that the storage and other uses to come, made it worth the exercise. We did not end up installing the top 'latch' piece yet, top opens & closes fine and there is so far no need to secure further. As an owner of several such suncast etc. outdoor items, true returns come from pieces such as this that do hard duty in storage etc. outdoors even in colder climates such as we have where we live. Very happy with the purchase. Size was a perfect answer for the slightly space-challenged porch area it now serves.

This is a very durable, yet lightweight storage box. I bought it to store Pool Supplies on our Pool Deck, which is under re-construction, so I cannot speak to how it may be affected by the sun. I am currently storing our Pool Robot on the top, which weighs about 20-25 pounds, and a few inflatable toys inside, and it has been very durable. It was a bit complex to put together, but overall it is a well built item with plenty of strength - I'm 135 lbs and can sit on it without concern. Take your time with the instructions and follow to the T and it will be great!

I first bought a pair of the Elements Chairs, which I really loved. I thought I would look for something else to provide "ottoman" and "table" space but everything I could buy from a brick and mortar store, was pretty low quality and very expensive. Although you need to be careful to "slide in" the sides of this table so that they don't go wonky, overall, the assembly was quite simple with my electric drill and 3 inch drill bits - and I am one of those people who ALWAYS struggles with assembly - so for me to make this claim is a pretty wonderful thing! I'm using the "end table" as an ottoman for one of the chairs and have placed the "coffee table" between the two chairs on my very small patio. All of the pieces look fantastic, are incredibly sturdy and have a terrific proportion. I've added some bright yellow seat cushions to go with my bright yellow patio umbrella and it just looks wonderfully welcoming, clean and fresh. I really love these products and would buy them again/recommend them to friends.

Screws were difficult to get in but once it was assembled I was very happy w the purchase. It’s not too big but fits the outdoor couch covers when it’s dry out and I can fit 3-4 pillows in when it is raining. Everything inside stays dry and lid stays closed.

This is easy to assemble with two caveats. First, it is easy to assemble it such that the left and right panels are upside down relative to the front and back panels. Fits together nicely that way, but then the bottom panel does not fit at all, and there are large gaps between the front/back panels and the bottom panel. Take it apart and fit it together correctly (look at the diagrams carefully to avoid my mistake; and also note the internal stamping patterns on the insides of the panel, they give a clue about which way is 'up' in all four vertical panels). Second, adding the 'springs' that lock the lid closed (and that hold the lid partly open if you don't push down hard), are hard to install because the screws that secure them in place require being screwed by a horizontal screwdriver, and there is plastic in the way that makes it hard to approach horizontally. But if you come at a slight down angle and are careful not to strip your screw heads because of the bad angle, it can be done. I did not figure out my first mistake myself, but called their 800 number and they very quickly explained the problem and were very happy to look at my photos to help diagnose the problem. Suncast has competent, friendly, and easily accessible support! How often can you say that about any company these days? And the quality is quite good. I'd be surprised if it did not last for at least a decade if not abused.

Luv, luv, luv this “chest”! I bought this item to replace a twenty yr old woven “bamboo” hamper that was failing in its structure. Since Suncast products are built to withstand the elements, I figured this would last another twenty yrs plus, since it is inside in the master bedroom. It is bigger than the previous unit, so it holds more bath linen and bed linen. It was easy to put together without hubby’s help! The white color brightens the corner area as well as makes the room look neater and bigger. And the price was better than the Big Z! Thanks, Amazon, for offering this very useful, yet stylish product!

Hard to piece together as one side was not cut out properly, but when I fixed it its sturdy weatherproof and fits in very well on and in our garden
