Superman 3: The Truth Revealed

The Truth is Finally Out!
This is my favorite Superman arc by Brian Michael Bendis. In this book, he has Superman to reveal his secret identity to the world! He goes from living two separate lives to living just one. This is way better than the New52 version of Truth. In the New52 version, the Fallout was terrible. New52 Superman's secret identity is revealed to the world by Lois Lane. As a result, he loses his job and his apartment and gets locked out of his Fortress of Solitude. The only clothes he has on are a Superman T-shirt, boots, jeans, and pieces of cloth from his cape wrapped around his hands.I like Bendis' version of Superman revealing his secret identity! I like that he consults with his family first and shares his secret with his closest friends before revealing it to the whole world. I got to see how the other heroes and villains react to his big decision. This arc would give readers the courage to share whatever secrets they are hiding and not to focus on the negative side.

Loved this book
Much better than the Unity story. This book was more like kind of stories we expect from Vendor an DC. Much more enjoyable to read and not all splash pages and action without a story.

Thought provoking read!!!
This story does a credible job of showing the angles of Superman revealing that he and Clark Kent are one and the same. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Not a big fan of the concept of everyone knowing but this was well done.

The Big Reveal
The Truth Revealed collects four Issues of Superman and two special issues. The first issue has a reunion between Jon and Damian as the later considers an offer to join the Legion of Superheroes. The rest of the book centers on Clark's decision to reveal his secret identity. The topic is one suited to Bendis' style as he loves to do stories with a lot of character conversations and talks from even the man on the street and this is a topic where that fits. So while the entire book is a bit pro forma in setting up the new status quo for Superman, it's still an engaging. My only complaint is the presence of the infected Supergirl in the villains issue. That was rather pointless and a reminder of how DC so badly mishandled this character.Other than that, it's a solid read.

A huge chapter and the saga that is Superman
While I have not read the books in years, save for this most recent run, I have really enjoyed Bendis’ take on The Man Of Steel. Here, in Volume 3, Present and Future collide, and Superman changes the game for… all time?I guess we will see.Highly Recommended.
