Autopilot APE4100 Eclipse F60 Digital Environmental Controller, White

The controller functions are impressive and perfect for my application. Sensors are accurate within a point or two. Installed in a 8’ X 10’ greenhouse, controls heating, cooling fan and low pressure fogging. The timer function is perfect for controlling the fog cycling combined with the humidity control to cycle the system. Highly recommend this controller .To follow up I'm using a misting system (low pressure) not a fog system (high pressure). Installed two 120 volt relays, when the RH goes below set point relay one closes and sends a 12 volt (low voltage) signal to second relay which is activated by the countdown timer (120 volts). Current settings are 5 seconds run time 25 seconds rest time. When the heat of the summer arrives those parameters will be adjusted to accommodate the conditions.The only request I have is that the low set point for heating is to high at 40°F. Growing lettuce and spinach in the winter months requiring a minimum of 28°F, there is no need to maintain heating $$$ at 40°F. 32°F would be acceptable to protect plumbing.

Great controller. I've been using this controller for a few months with no issues. I'm running CO2 with a tank setup using the fuzzy logic setting, works very well maintaining my set level within the deadband. I have a few CO2 meters and will say this controller is accurate and calibration is very simple. While this is not an inexpensive controller it is definitely worth the price. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to run a CO2 setup and control your environment accurately and efficiently.

When I received the product the manufacturers box was already open and the contents were packed as if they had been taken out already. The sensor didn’t work right out of the box and I could tell this product had already been used. I’m disappointed that the company, Autopilot, clearly sent me a used and broken product. I’m not sure if they are just repackaging returned merchandise and trying to pass it off as new. I will be returning this.

Whenever I see a steep split in prices ($250 -450 for controllers) I know there may be some issues. I was pleasantly surprised with this product. within moments my temp and humidity were rights where I wanted them to be. I could not figure out how to use the timer settings to get my lights to stay on for 18 hours a day. Contacted the manufacturer (not the sellers) and within moments received this reply:The Autopilot Eclipse F60 is not designed to manage light cycles, the Autopilot Revolve F20 or Autopilot PX2 lighting controllers can be used depending on the model lights you have.The F60 recycle timer functions as a repeat countdown clock. You'll have to first choose the timer mode you intend to utilize (day/24hr/night). When using 24 hour mode (timer active for both day and night), you'll have to first flip the slide-switch to day mode and program your day settings and then flip the slide-switch to night mode and program your night settings. Once the day and night settings are programmed, you can then flip the timer mode slide-switch to 24 hour mode and the timer will be active with you day and night programmed settings.For example, let's say you want the repeat cycle timer to be on for 1 hour and off for 45 minutes during both day and night cycle:First, position the cycle timer slide-switch to day modeset the on-time for 01:00:00 (hour/minutes/seconds) for 1 hour onset the off-time for 00:45:00 for 45 minutes offNext, position the cycle timer slide-switch to night modeset the on-time for 01:00:00 (hour/minutes/seconds) for 1 hour onset the off-time for 00:45:00 for 45 minutes offLastly, position the cycle timer slide-switch to 24 hour mode.That worked and providing the product lasts, I am very happy with the purchase.

I have quite a bit of experience with autopilot controls products and this one is nearly as great as all the others. The probe seems to be accurate against other gauges I use to check the room conditions. My only complaint is really the same complaint I have about most autopilot gear, the instructions are hot garbage. There isn't a whole lot on this unit thats exactly hard to master, but trying to set some of the features is a bit maddening.

Amazing accuracy! It works wonders controlling our grow room to start all our spring vegetables as well as our over-the-winter lettuce & herbs (basil, lemon thyme & rosemary). Worth every penny if you’re looking for high end control and automation!

The controller works great and the censor is very sensitive, unfortunately This like the rest of them will end up in the trash because they don’t sell replacement sensors . You will find out the hard way when your crop gets damaged what happens when the sensor is not very sensitive after it ages . It’s made of plastic and essentially makes or breaks a crop. & It only has a one year warranty . The company wants you to buy a new unit just to replace the censor . This is why I went on eBay and found a replacement censor for my old control board from a distributor that had the very last one in the universe practically. The counter part of the auto pilot is the titan controller and the temp censor on that one is black and gets cooked and brittle , whoever designs these things need to wake up and start selling replacement parts so I can replace the sensor yearly and not the entire unit . Well now, off to eBay to order another backup sensor , I have to buy the whole unit off of eBay just to get the censor now to pillage out of the box for $100 but it beats paying $240 for a new controller

Settig the "cool" and heat is a guess, cause instrutions says cool and heat will display and i could never Get It To display, so not sure which is cool or heat high or low. Might End Up Being A Return Cant Just Guess With Alot Involved On TheLineUpdate: Got High And Low Figured Out ,So Far Its A Nice Unit
