Q: What oil would I use on this product?

I have never had to use any oil on my scissors.

Q: How long are the scissors and how long are the blades?

The scissors are 3-1/2” long & the blades are 1/2” long.

Q: received these scissors only several days ago, no instructions!, what is the proper method to use, which side up?, etcetera?

Three Swords is top quality German product. To use, curved side of scissor down, start at corners of nail, then trim center. Then cut any remaining high spots. Finish with fine nail file to smooth edges if necessary.

Q: are these scissors good for cutting toe nails?

Yes, I was very pleased with the quality of these sharp scissors. Both my husband and I find them strong enough to cut toe nails. We keep them in their protective pouch in our medicine cabinet.
