Works great - not for all occasions
UPDATE - 4/6/17With 2 of our floodlights have somehow managed to get small punctures underneath the plastic seal at the bottom of the light, which we are unable to get to, to repair. If you are looking to use these in winds stronger than about 15mph, these will fall and bend. Even with the pegs on the feet and the guide ropes, the wind will make it bend at the middle joint and topple.Still, believe it is a great product but some design flaws mean we are looking for alternatives.Initial ReviewThis is a superb product that is simplistic to use. Easy to set up and deflate with minimal effort. With the rigid air technology, it makes it lightweight as well.We initially purchased 2 Floodlights for our soccer coaching business Britannia Soccer Academy, to help us coach when the daylight starts to go. With 2 floodlights you can cover an area of 30x20 yards, so we now have 4 and the light coverers a 40x40 yards field perfectly for us to carry on training into the night. The light is also extremely powerful and does not heat up as other lights we have used previously which is a great feature. We would like to have a better way of securing the light onto the floodlight but it does the job.

Great portable sport light!
You need to buy at least four to really use the light for sports but the actual product is really easy to setup and use. The light is very bright and each one can easily light a 30 x 30 foot area. I have five of them and they work great! The inner tube material has a weird smell and a little sticky residue but I use it outside so it doesn't bother me. Other than that, good quality product. Does what it is supposed to.

Elaborate, huge, expensive for not a lot of light.
From a design standpoint, this is a well engineered stand. The inflatable tube is surprisingly sturdy and stiff with only about four pumps to inflate it, same to empty it. It is huge, it sets up quickly and dismantles fast. It fits it the supplied wheeled bag. That said, for the lofty price the battery and charger are not included if you purchase this, luckily my test sample had a battery. The other disappointment was the lack of light it actually delivered. On a very dark night we set it up at the intersection on our road and you can see the range of the light and brightness or lack of in the pics. Would I pay this much for it, no way. The light is just not enough for such an elaborate giant stand. The high price is prohibitive and then to have to spend another almost fifty for a battery and charger to make it work. It's cool but it's use is quite limited.

Durable and portable
This portable floodlight is a pretty good idea and design. It is easy to set up and easy to take back apart and pack into the bag. It seems to be pretty sturdy and stable and there are ground stakes that you can use for extra precaution during windy conditions, or if, like me, you're just worried about it toppling over in general. It provides a nice amount of light, but only towards one main direction. The battery life is 5 hours, so maybe not the best choice in an emergency situation. The battery and charger are not included, so that is an extra cost. It does feel like a well made and durable product, but the price still seems a bit much, especially when factoring in the additional cost of battery and charger. The main attraction here though is the portability, I believe. It's not too heavy to carry from vehicle to desired placement, or house to the yard etc., but if camping or hiking it could get pretty tiring, pretty quickly, with an awkward 25lb load. The carry bag is sturdy as well and I expect it would hold up for the life of the torch. Overall its a neat idea and a well made product that I think you could find various uses for. I also think longer runtime on a full charge would be more ideal, especially for emergency situations where you have lost power in storms, etc.

Worlds Most Expensive Balloon with a Light on Top
Way too expensive. Why not include the battery or charger? That adds another $120 to the cost. For a small soccer field (youth soccer U-8) you will need 4 of these units. Yep 4. So that means 4 batteries and 4 chargers. Cost around $2000 for the setup. One star deducted for the inflated pricing, however 2 stars deducted for the inflated design. Sadly, within the first 3 uses, one of my light towers is leaking and wont hold the light. I expect the others to follow suit. The long flimsy structure surrounded by sharp wire is bound to puncture the balloon. Also note how many of the reviews are from "Free Product" orders! Don't trust the star rating here. Sadly amazons "Free Product Reviews" have completely undermined buyer confidence on this marketplace.Update: I sent the bad unit back and received a replacement. The replacement leaks air and must be replaced...Ugh.
