MHQJRH Dual WiFi Antenna
I'm somewhat reluctantly giving this antenna 5 stars. I guess for $10 what can you reasonably expect. I have a pcie wifi card capable of an 866 Mbps connection under optimal conditions in my pc that came with a small antenna and it worked okay, getting about 300 Mbps speed through 2 walls with the router 50 feet away but I was looking for better signal strength and higher connection speed. So before I connected this new antenna I made note of my signal strength and speed with the old antenna that has a shorter 2 foot long cable, then I connected this new one. With this new antenna in the same spot as the old one I got slightly worse signal which I figure is from the cables being cheap, because high quality low-loss cables are expensive, and this one is over 6 feet long which is a lot of signal loss for a cheap cable, so for the whole antenna to be $10 it has to be cheap cables and is not surprising. It's when I relocated the antenna that the signal got a lot better. I couldn't do that with the old antenna. Before, with the old antenna I got around 200 to 300 Mbps speed, and with this new one, and the ability to move it to a better location, I'm getting between 400 to 700 Mbps, so it doubled my connection speed. This antenna is definitely worth $10. I could have gotten a better antenna if I had spent more, but this one is fine for what I'm doing with it. If you're looking for a cheap antenna to get a better signal this will do the job. If you want the absolute best signal you're going to have to spend more money, maybe a lot more money, for higher quality cables with less signal loss.

Cant believe reviews docking this because its not bluetooth,It clearly says wi-fi only,Works Great !
Dont listen to negative reviewers, ive bought several of these and they work great..They are for wi-fi only, clearly states that in the ad,No where does it say bluetooth,.Bluetooth runs off the chip, not an antenna.(Yes im a computer tech and own a shop)This is a great product i purchased to free up clutter on back of my pc from regular antennas that would cover other ports.Magnetic base is strong.

Great for Bluetooth
Bought for Bluetooth and gaming. Low latency on my wireless Intel card. Greatly extended the signal strength from the original antenna.

Works on other dual chanl. brand Wi-Fi cards...great transmitting/receiving up to 5+ gigahertz.
So...my cat ate my cord from my Gigabyte® brand wifi antenna (that came with the motherboard), and to get another one of the same, it would have cost the same amount to get the entire Gigabyte® Wi-Fi kit just to replace that particular antenna. This dual band Wi-Fi antenna will connect to the Wi-Fi card dual antenna screw-on porch that are already set up to accept the original Gigabyte® antenna, but is definitely a lesser expensive alternative route to go and...a quality alternative (stronger magnet, longer cable, more powerful set of antennas, and a lot more maneuverability to place it to where you find it is more convenient to place on your tower because a lot of newer towers are more plastic than metal. it would probably be even safe to say that there is more of a bandwidth with this replacement antenna that would enable you to hit those 5 + gigahertz settings off of your Wi-Fi and bring in a much stronger signal. And I would definitely buy from them again! Providing that my cats go on a new diet...abstaining from future electronic cable kibbles to chew on!

Great performance; would prefer a weighted stand
The antenna works great, I'm getting over 100 MBps download speeds on 5ghz band, which matches my ISP speed. I have 2 minor complaints: it would be better if the stand was weighted, or had a rubber pad instead of felt. It slides around too easily. Also, the wire that connects to the back of the antenna body can't be disconnected. It is not removable. This means you can't swap out the cable for a shorter one.

Sturdy, long cable, quality connectors, magnetic base. See my note if installing vertically.
Long 6.5 foot cable, quality connectors. I used it to replace the OEM antenna that came with my PC motherboards. This unit is sturdy and works great. Internet speeds measure 5-10 percent higher, but my results were pretty good with the OEM antenna until it broke.NOTE: If you are mounting vertically and need to change the rod orientation, you can rotate the rods so that they can bend in the opposite direction. As shipped, the rods bend back toward the cable. If you rotate the rods, they can then be oriented away from the cable. The unit I received was 13 dollars and was branded YATENG. The packaging was protective, but no instructions were in the package. That is why I explained that the rods can be rotated, a requirement for most vertical installations. The magnetic power of the base seems is good.

Was planning to upgrade my card, but gave this a try first
Theses are obviously easy to install - screw into the card. I was planning on replacing my card but tried these first - much improved signal and I have not replaced the card as I am pleased with my connection. Much improved signal strength and stable connection.
