Heed the warnings!
Broke the first day, dangerously sharp, extremely hard to close…these reviews all say the same thing because it’s all true! I bought this for my 29yo daughter. She was extremely excited about it, so at first, when it was extremely difficult to close, she was “just going to deal with it.” Come to find out, after nicking her knuckles countless times on this sheet metal toy-O-death trying to roll it back up, she was no longer ok with “just dealing with it”!! It was all downhill from there. Do better than me! Heed the warnings!

My 10 year old grandson loves this. His mother thought he was too young for it but he has used it safely, he knows his mom would take it away if he didn't. It took him several tries to learn to close it, but he learned it. He has had it for 6 months and it looks new, no problems.

DANGEROUS
Ouch. Cut my fingers in three places trying to pin it closed. This is made of coiled sheet metal, and the edges are sharp! Ordered as a gift for a magic-loving tween, but there is no way I’d let a kid play with this thing. Requires lots of hand strength from an adult to hold onto it while it opens. It shot across the room half of the times I tried to use it, with enough force to break things or put out an eye! Threw it out instead of returning it with bloodstains.

Sharp and difficult to close again
If you plan for it to be a trick one time it’s great. Otherwise I would not purchase. Once it’s opened it’s so difficult to close again and cuts your hands. All the reviews say the same thing and I thought it would be different for my son and I. Unfortunately that is not the case. It is flimsy and so sharp

Great for Cosplay
Great for Cosplay convention. I really liked it and it went great on stage. Just cuts your hands sometimes putting it away. Nice and small socks easy to travel with it.

Cool toy wish I hade this when I was young
