Quality Product. Dark Gray color (not silver). Solid feel and snap into the MacBook. Performs well.
Overall this is a well built, nice fitting, solid feeling device that performs as advertised. The device is dark gray ("Space Gray") color, despite the photo showing it as being silver color. So it contrasts and doesn't match my silver MacBook Pro. I think the photo for the device is just wrong. The USB ports perform well (3.0 speeds with blue inserts) and the dual 4K video outputs also perform well, although note that they are 30Hz and not 60Hz, which shouldn't be a problem for most. The TF card must be inserted upside down. This really isn't a problem and is common for this type of adapter, but it is a little bit funky. The website indicates the PD USB-C input is 87 watts, but the manual that came with the unit states it is 60 watts. It is unclear whether the manual is out of date or whether the device limits charging power to 60 watts. This shouldn't be an issue if you plug your charger cable directly into the MacBook Pro.The warranty is 90 days. There is an option to extend it to 1 year, although electronics rarely fail after the first 90 days.I am a bit more fussy and detail oriented than most reviewers, so overall you should consider this device to be very good despite my little nit-pick comments.

Great on its own. Issues with KVM switch.
Since I've been doing a work from home setup, I've bought a KVM switch that I can use between my personal desktop, my Macbook Pro 13" (A1708) and my work laptop to easily switch between. This was okay in the short term, but I had another USB-C hub I was using that did not offer me the USB2/3 flexibility I needed, specifically for external hard disks for storage and my Time Machine backups. It also had the capability to see/use SD cards, which was nice. This docking station is the perfect fit for my use case. I also (mistakenly) bought a new 65w power adapter, which I'll explain in a minute why that's not a good idea, and am using this docking station in conjunction with a 4-port HDMI KVM switch, which also has its caveats.Power Issues:1. Make sure you buy the correct power supply. If you do not supply enough power to the machine, it will be starved for power and it will continue to go to sleep. I found this out after I realize I purchased a 65w power supply rather than a 95w that the hub requires. After swapping to the original power adapter that came with my Macbook Pro, I was able to use it no problem.2. In conjunction with the above, if you do not have the proper power supply and you plug in devices like external hard drives, the machine will be starved for power, in which case you'll be lucky if it's charging at all.KVM/Hub Issues:1. This may be an OS issue itself, but after closing the lid on the Macbook Pro and reconnecting to the dock, it does not always pick up the devices hooked up to it, or does not recognize that it is connected. The fix I've found is unplugging the power cable from the hub and reconnecting.2. Depending on the KVM switch you have, mileage may vary, but I have had issues where the mouse/keyboard will be passed through, but not the display. Again, I've done the following to fix. 1.) Unplug/Replug the power cable. 2.) Unplug/replug the HDMI cable.Aside from that, I have not had any issues with this product that were directly related to the product itself, but take the above into consideration if you have a setup similar to mine.

Easy to use USB Type C Adapter Docking Station for MacBook Pro
My MacBook must be connected to multiple peripherals during desktop operation while at work but since it travels with me, daily disconnection and reconnection is a frustrating process. I was also limited to only one external display and I had to constantly swap USB connections for printer, phone, card reader, etc. The TOTU USB C Hub was the best port replicator I have found. With 8 ports (2 HDMI 4K ports, type-c female PD charging Port, 3 USB-A 3.0 ports and SD&TF card reader slots) I can keep one or both of my large video displays, AC power, mouse, printer and phone charger pre connected at the desk top. It takes a single action to plug the hub into the MacBook and the complete system is operational. There is no delay in startup connection and each connected device has been functioning without issue. This setup significantly improves my degree of function and eliminates delays or limitations in using multiple peripherals. It has also significantly improved my work space as all the cables are no longer strewn across the desk. A very effective product and a good price.

Supports triple displays at high resolution
I bought this product after returning another product that did not support my two 2560x1440 (QHD) HDMI displays properly on my 2018 i9 MacBook Pro. This device does an excellent job of supporting the two external displays as well as supporting the PD port so my MBP charges well. I take my MBP to meetings several times/day and this devices makes that simple - just pop it out and go. (See UPDATE 2)UPDATE 1:A few weeks after I installed this device, I unplugged and replugged the device. One of my two displays would not work. It was then that I discovered that the PD port on the device had not been passing power through to my MacBook Pro (the MBP died with a dead battery 15 minutes later). Even with everything removed except for the power supply the MBP would not charge. I gave this 2 stars.UPDATE 2 (2019 Oct 17):I think The device for which I wrote the above review was defective. I returned the device and was given a new one. So far this device performs very well. It support dual external HDMI monitors very well at 2560x1440@60 Hz (with my MacBook Pro at full resolution)
