Best table I've found
Pretty solid construction for the price. Very easy to assemble literally only 32 screws and the holes are all predrilled, only took about 30 minutes to put the table together. My 3 year has been playing on it constantly. Best price on any table I found and it comes with quite a few track pieces. A must have for any train loving kid.

One of the Best Purchases We've Made for Our Twins!
We purchased this train table for our three-year-old son for Christmas because, like all little boys, he loves trains and cars. We searched on here for something he could use for a long time and thought this would be worth purchasing since he's a very busy boy and there are quite a few activities to do with this table alone. When he opened this table set and my husband started putting it together, our son could barely contain his excitement! He absolutely couldn't wait to get his little hands on this set and it's a good thing my husband is very handy and was able to put the table and all of the little pieces and structures together within a couple hours so our son could start playing with it right away. This set comes with a lot of pieces and I've included a couple pictures of the table so you can see what it looks like. The table itself measures 48 3/4" by 32 1/2" by 15" and is made out of sturdy wood. The board included is two pieces and has colorful pictures of grass, rocks, roads, and water. It comes with a lot of wooden track pieces and some are arched so the track isn't just flat. This set also comes with a helipad, helicopter, small airport runway that consists of four puzzle pieces, a plane, a plastic mountain with a waterfall, a bridge, a turntable that really works, a crane, and small wooden pieces made to look like a hospital, police station, fire station, and gas station. The hospital, police station, fire station, and gas station are small pieces of wood painted to look like the buildings rather than actual three-dimensional buildings. This set also comes with little wooden people, wooden trees, street signs, a boat, and a couple cars and trains. It does not come with many trains though so you will probably want to purchase some. We bought Orbrium Toys 12 Pcs Wooden Engines & Train Cars Collection Compatible with Thomas Wooden Railway, Brio, Chuggington which work perfectly with this set. We also have a number of the Thomas and Friends wooden trains such as Fisher-Price Thomas the Train Wooden Railway Thomas and Fisher-Price Thomas the Train Wooden Railway James Engine which are compatible with the wooden tracks in this set. We've also purchased some of the trains from local stores that cost a couple dollars each and they work with this set. There are also wooden beams you put underneath the table that hold three plastic bins for storing all of these pieces. We have had this set for almost five months now and my son continues to use it every day. It's one of his favorite toys and it has been such a good investment for us! Even his twin sister uses it and it's a lot of fun to watch them play together with it (when they are actually getting along which is rare). My kids are both about 37 inches tall and this table is a great size for them. They can stand or sit and use it. As they get taller, they can either sit on the floor or pull up chairs to use the table. I've even sat down on the floor and played with the table with them so kids of all ages can definitely benefit from this table set.The only issue I've come across is that sometimes the tracks and roads don't match up nicely. For instance, because of the way the track pieces are shaped they run across the roads and there aren't a lot of configurations but, for the most part, the tracks work nicely with the pictures on the board. My twins don't really care at this point but they may in the future and perhaps we can remove pieces of the track so it looks a bit more realistic. It works great for us right now and as long as our kids are happy, we are happy! If you have a little one who loves trains and cars, this table set will provide them HOURS of entertainment (plus it will give you a few minutes of peace and quiet, or at least no screaming)! My kids love this set and I'm glad they are able to both enjoy it. I know they will use it for years to come which is good considering the price. It is a more expensive toy but it has been extremely well-worth it for us and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. It has a lot of pieces but was fairly easy to put together and is still standing strong even after my three-year-old twins' daily playing, which is saying something! If anything happens that changes my opinion of this product, I will update this review. I highly recommend this table set for young children because it will keep them so busy and even adults will have fun playing with their kids with it!

Reasonably sturdy, feature-rich train table -- may be good for speech therapy, but does contain smallish parts
(Wife):PROS:1. When the table is fully-assembled, we've found that it seems sturdy enough to support a roughly 28-lb toddler with Lego DUPLO blocks and other toys and stuff on it.2. If they don't show you pictures of this, in our set, you can flip over the two top pieces, and they are the natural wood color underneath. So, you can use the table either way. Just bear in mind that the coloration / design is just veneer, and I doubt it's wood veneer.3. Our set came with three slide-under red storage totes for the train tracks and features. This has been great for us. There is room for some larger items that stick out of the top of one of the bins, up to a point. We have had no problems so far.4. This set also comes with a nice collection of vehicles: a train set with removable shipping containers that the crane can lift off the freight cars, a few wooden city cars that can be driven on the tracks, a boat for the water features painted on the one side of the table, an airplane and a helicopter. The set also includes a number of trees and traffic signs as well as some nice wooden people with fairly detailed features painted on them (and then varnished, I think -- possibly with kid-safe paint / varnish, as we haven't noticed any off-gassing so far).5. I think what I love most about this set is that it strikes me as a potential gold mine for language development / speech therapy -- if like us, you have a late talker and are willing to use this set to play with your kid (and talk about what stuff does). There are (in my opinion) too many features to use at one time; but what we do is swap them out, and work on developing language associated with the vehicles, features, etc.NEUTRAL:1. Our two-year-old loves the waterfall feature, although the upper portion is a bit difficult to attach. We've kept the upper section of our waterfall loose so far -- we're taking a "wait and see" approach, partly because the upper tunnel may have mildly sharp edges. We can certainly still use the bottom portion when the top part isn't cooperating. When the top part of the waterfall will stay put, my daughter does enjoy taking the boat that comes with this set and treating the waterfall and boat like a log flume ride. While not so practical or safe in real life, we can at least learn new words this way and in time discuss safety issues related to whitewater paddling. For now, I'd rather that she just get to learn new things and hopefully develop a sense of creativity in time.2. The elevated track supports do hold the pieces firmly; however, they hug the track so well that it is essentially impossible for me to use one of the supports to connect two elevated track pieces. The elevated supports also do not really work with curved track. Instead, I recommend the Maxim Enterprise Inc Multi Level Support Risers, 6-Piece (red -- available here on Amazon). Use double-sided tape to tape short, straight track pieces to the top of the Maxim supports, and two pieces of track of any type other than specialty track joint pieces will connect fine and stay put. However, you will likely end up with a track on the floor. BUT, we find that the Maxim set does wonders to reduce our daughter's frustration at pieces being knocked over. These supports can be stacked on top of each other for multiple layers OR stacked staggered directly on top of each other, to conserve storage space. ; ) So, that's my recommendation on that one. As for the waterfall and the bridge: both provide appropriate supports for connecting pieces. Yay! = D3. The train is of fair quality in terms of magnets and wheel alignment on the tracks. It typically still works well enough for us, even when the wheels do not stay 100% in the track grooves. But by all means, feel free to use a better train if you would like. And remember that you can certainly use the set's wooden vehicles on the tracks, instead of or in addition to the train. = )CONS:1. This table can arrive with some blemishes.2. The veneer on this table can be thin and end up mildly scratched or damaged from some objects, including Legos. (This table does NOT provide a Lego surface. We just use DUPLO blocks on ours along with train tracks and other toys, depending on our daughter's wishes.)3. While this table currently supports our daughter, that's not something we'll want to have her test long-term. Mostly, she uses it as intended, so I'm not as concerned for us as for any family with rambunctious climbers or rough-housing-loving kids. This table has been working fine for us so far, but solid wood or even a sturdy plywood would likely be higher-quality material. In fact, I almost bought such a train table, except that our daughter fell in love with this one. For the most part, I'm glad that she did.4. This set contains some pieces that are small-ish -- probably not often "choke" size, but I would recommend using discretion with young kids, just in case.5. While I think everyone understands that the table requires assembly, a couple of the toy items also do -- and sometimes use small screws that should be kept away from young children. My advice is to build everything while the young ones are asleep.6. My husband says that the instructions only covered table assembly. So, you'll probably want to pull up a picture of this table to assemble the building with the helipad, for example. The bridge is pretty straight-forward. Just be sure to find the long piece with wood attached underneath at each end that has the matching drill hole marks for screwing in the plastic bridge pieces. (The plastic bridge sides also attach via plastic dowel-style rods to help stabilize the bridge sides.)7. Some of the wooden track pieces fit together kinda tightly. Overall, they do seem to be pretty good quality, with peg male connectors just for the specialty pieces, I think. So anyway, I think that about does it.

Our kid in so excited!
Great quality table - I built it myself one night. Then wife setup all the trains and track the next day. It looks great - lots of features for the kiddos to navigate. Our son never leaves it's side basically - we used to have to play trains on the ground - now we have a little table and he plays more by himself and we can sit in a chair and play too. It is a hit - we did a lot of research before getting this one - best reviews of them all. This is a BIG UNIT. We bought it thinking it would tuck in the corner of our living room - it takes up a big chunk of our living room. But if you have a playroom, basement, bedroom, etc it is great and the size would be perfect.Amazon did us right on this - the first box came open, giant holes inside, etc - we were not sure all the parts made it. We wrote and they sent us a replacement immediately by Xmas and told us to discard or donate the current one (which we gave to a friend who could not afford gifts this year and I think just a few screws were missing which they found at home depot). Thank you Amazon for helping us make Xmas special for our kiddo (and someone else too).
