This magnet claims to be 960 lb pulling Force that equals out to 480 lb per side and if that's true that I must be He-Man master of the universe because there's no way this is 480 lbs per side , I have a magnet from the local hardware store that has a stronger pull than this and that was tagged at 40 lbs definitely not what it claims to be.

The media could not be loaded.  This magnet is garbage. No where near the pulling power of what's advertised. Also you can't even return this product. Yes its the weak.

The magnet isn't what it is advertised to be. No where near 960 lbs of pulling force. The worst part is as soon as it gets wet, the coating rusts overnight. In 7 days, the "chrome" coating was completely gone...and I only used it in fresh water...save your money for a better quality magnet.

I bought this to keep the door of my horse trailer open after I discovered the manufacturer didn't take the wind into consideration. It's perfect. Strong hold. Given the easy to remove 2 stars is a compliment. I tested it to see if it will hold my divider to the side without having to drill holes and tie it off. I'll be ordering two more of these very soon. Worth the money. Applications are endless. NOTE: My husband has a spinal cord stimulator. He picked the magnet up and his back started tingling, so yes, it's quite strong.

Husband dropped a metal lid on water... i was just messing around to find treasures in water and pulled up his dropped lid!!! This is a fun toy for boaters to find things in water ... I used a floating rope to fasten to this toy

Its gonna work well enough for my intended use but ''combined strength of 960lbs" is a little misleading. I can easily pull it off of my fridge.

This thing is super weak! It can not lift 5 pounds!!!!! Do not purchase, also tried to return because it is so bad and it is not “eligible” for a return. Save your money.
