Flex HQ 10 ft Offset Cantilever Patio Umbrella Outdoor Market Hanging Umbrellas & Crank with Cross Base (Brown)

This is the best engineered umbrella I have ever owned. It doesn't just shade you at high noon but at all times of the afternoon sun. The shade can move up and down and also turn to keep you protected. There is not much to assemble but you need a little pratice to see all its possiblities. My only con it that with this large a canope you will need some weight on the legs to keep it steady. We bought the assesory base weight designed for the this umbrella. Works great !

The umbrella is a good value and meets our needs but has a problem that the seller was not able to correct. With the umbrella in a slightly tilted position, when a slight breeze comes by, the sleeve pops off and the supporting arm falls down (see pictures). This can be prevented if I tie the sleeve in place (as shown), but the product should come with a mechanism to secure the sleeve. This is a design flaw. I have notified the seller about this, but as of yet they have not come up with a solution.

This is complete crap !the metal support pipe is not manufactured correctly and had a large chunk of metal inside the pipe so that it was impossible to insert the main support pipe deep enough because the chunk of metal left over from the manufacturing process was blocking it - it was very difficult to remove the leftover metal chunk and after after chiseling at it for nearly 1 hour with a hammer and a screwdriver I was finally able to remove the leftover chunk of metal from inside the pipe to allow the support pipe to be inserted.Also the directions are horrible and even after it is fully assembled it is not sufficiently weighted and tips easily.Don’t waste your time and money - look elsewhere for a better product and the manufacturer should be ashamed of themselves with such bad quality of leaving metal shads inside the pipes

I looked at over 30 different cantilevered umbrellas and decide that for the cost this was a good value. I don't expect to get more than a couple of years out of one of these umbrellas anyway so I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it. Assembly was easy. I did order the sand filled weights from Amazon to help stabilize it in the wind. The whole package works well. I haven't used it much so not sure if it will hold up over time or not, but so far knowing what it is and the quality of the item, I would buy it again.

We have it attached to our deck for sun protection for our swimming pool. So far it is working great for us and was very reasonably priced!

Great value for the money - it is much bigger than I expected and adds great shade to our deck

The stand you have to buy sand bags to make it stay and it’s awkward so be careful with someone hitting their feet with it
