Read the label on your detergent. If it's not safe for wood it will tell you.

It’s typically not recommended that items made of wood be put in the dishwasher. Chemicals from the dishwasher detergent can leach into the wood as well as wood warping and chipping. I hand wash mine with dish soap and air drying. Works great and looks like new.
